Thank you for saying this. My husband is atheist and my very religious parents think he's a demon or something. But he is the most loving, caring, and faithful man and daddy. We've been happily married for 13 years while my friends who have "religious husbands" have cheated on them multiple times and won't spend time with them. So yea, just bc someone goes to church doesn't mean they're a good person and someone who doesn't go to church or believe in God doesn't mean they're evil person.

That’s a shame. Most churches (keyword most) are fairly accepting, and that draws some interesting characters. That is fine, but the problem occurs when they ; 1. Distract others 2. Completely disregard what is taught. In your case I’m sure your ex was not listening to the teachings on sundays. I may have misinterpreted the situation, but nonetheless, I’m sorry you had such a horrible experience with the church.
