Thank you for that. I'm looking to repair the USB C port on in the same headlamp because I lost the cover and dropped the light damaging the C port on the headlamp. I've never repaired or replaced a charging port. It is the plastic cover that needs to come off. I ordered another battery w/integrated charging port like the one you dismantled in the meaning so that I'm not dependent on the C port in the headlamp. I have used and beat this light and it's been a beast. A heavy beast, but has done the job exceptioally. I use it for many hours ever single night. Thanks.

I think I'll put a jumper across positive terminals so I can use the battery in the acebeam h30 And still be able to charge the battery out of the torch if needed by the usb-C pill

I'm surprised you needed tools to do that. You have to have the strongest hands on earth from climbing all the time.
