Caving Lights Test 2024 ACEBEAM H30.
The ACEBEAM H30 caught my eye at IWA 2024 as it was advertised, amongst the many end uses, also for caving.

For any light to be worthy of caving then it simply has to be rugged.
It did indeed carry an IP68 rating.
IP68 means the device is completely resistant to extremely small dust and particulate matter along with preventing water ingression to a depth of (in this case) 2 meters.
ACEBEAM do not quote an underwater duration (at least I couldn't find any easily accessible data on their web site), however, it is generally accepted up to 30 minutes of submersion time.
My first test was to check the IP68 rating.
After 30 minutes submerged at 2m in 10C crystal clear water emanating from a ginormous underground aquifer in a cave; the ACEBEAM H30 was working just fine and we went on to use it for the next 3.5-4 hours caving.

For those of you interested in the equipment I trust to take underground with me, here is a list but not limited to:
Ferrino and Hypergear PVC Canvas caving bags (you don't see them but they line the inside of our rucksacks.
Deuter rucksacks (they are easier to use in this type of cave and be left hanging and remove the caving bag when going into the water.
