Can you keep the butterfly's in the house to grow or outside? Please respond ASAP i got a monarch in its cocoon and I need to know where to put it. I have been keeping it In the house and I'm afraid that it won't emerge

Hello everybody I am Chilean and I want you to help me with the preparation of food for the caterpillars, since the host plants here in Chile are not very abundant and I do not want my caterpillars to starve. I have heard that it can be made with soy flour? Does anyone know how is the elaboration? If you can help me in the detail of the elaboration, my caterpillars would appreciate it very much

I know this was 10 months ago but if this ever happens again then you can always do a surgery on it. If you have extra wings that is. There are plenty of videos online of how to do this.
