Right now i have a Kawasaki 15F First ski i have ever even set on.. Thinkin about a1800R (when available) around Sept./Oct. i got a friend here in Miss. that knows you guys so i will be seein ya'll about upgrade to the 1800 !! OH i'm Dave Chappelle The White guy Not the black Comedian !! :)

Yamaha seems to be the more reliable ski but will be slower top speed but be faster from zero to 60. After you unlock speed limiter my guess is Yamaha will top out the SeaDoo there too. Get a better aftermarket seat (if available) with the $1,000 less money the Yamaha costs.

I've always thought the Yamahas looked looked way worse than the Sea-Doos, but different strokes I guess.

Sea Doo looks stealthy or futuristic. Yamaha looks fast and classic.

Hi, just wondering if your rxpx grinds on your trailer when loading and unloading. The deep v hull design on mine hits the cross bar when sliding it on or off

I do not have this problem. you will have to move your bunks closer together to prevent this from happening.

Hi, thanks I’ll try that. Another quick question, I’m going with the jp racing intake, it’s a short 90 with the filter rather then the Riva power filter. Wondering if leaving the air box installed but disconnecting it would be a good idea. I figure it’s not heavy and the ECU and electrical is already mounted to it. Would it cause an issue somehow if I left it in. ?

so, how does it compare to the Yammie GP ??? Acceleration, top speed? For all those touting the Sea Doo, there's a reason why the large majority of rental fleets do NOT use the Sea Doos.

I think the gp1800r acceleration feels a lot more quicker than the rxp, I own a 2021 gp and my cousin owns a 2021 rxp and after riding both the gp feels like it gets to its top speed a lot quicker, the rxp has the better top speed by a couple miles but that's due to the gp having a speed limiter even here in Australia, I think once I get it removed it'll be the gp all day, thanks for the video !!

Mate we rode them back to back Stock both broken in Same fuel Ran a couple of drags. Seadoo smoked it

@@nickk9896 stock for stock Hole Shot px won out the gate - bees dick In it. Not talking top end here Everyone knows the Yamaha motor is capable Of much much more. It’s got an extra cylinder and more overall displacement Ps the GP rider I swapped with bought. A px 24hours later.. says a lot given he was diehard Yamaha fan

Nick, even international Sea Doo skis have a speed limiter. They are limited to 73 mph. US models are limited to 69 mph. Stay tuned, we will have real results comparing both skis using accurate acceleration equipment.

Everything is subjective Spent a good hour on a broken in 2021 gp1800 In all conditions. River and surf And I couldn’t wait to get back on the PX Yes the Yamaha stays flatter so for me that lack of ergo seat I’m working so much harder on the Yamaha and feel like I’m going to come off at any time. Feel it way more! Horses for courses Each got our go to Ps bumblebee hood FTW 😅
