I've been doing similar chores with my Cat 303.5 E2 CR mini. Limbing up some trees and taking down rotten oak and ash trees on my rural property. Then machine piling the limbs to be burned at a later time. I just torched off my first pile of the 20/21 burning season two nights ago. It was perfect! A little drizzle came through ahead of me lighting the pile, then stopped for a few hours. After the pile had burned down to a bed of coals, the rain came back and turned it into a soggy ash heap the next morning. I love burning stuff just like AC! Thanks for the vids Andrew, Levi & Cody...aka Team Camarata!

4:16 Other KZfaqrs: bright orange helmets, hearing protection, chainsaw chaps, etc. AC: Ain't nobody got time for that.
@kevinvermeer90113 жыл бұрын
The excavator was the right way to take this one down - the explosion of dead branches on the ground was fun, when a tree is this far gone, it's easy to have the vibrations of a chainsaw drop a 50 lbs branch from 50 feet up on your head, and a hard hat, even if it's orange, can't do much about your spine telescoping. But he still should have worn the safety gear for the chainsaw.
@FLYWHEELPRIME3 жыл бұрын
A lot of the tree guys on KZfaq do it for a living, as in primary source of income. If they post a bunch of stuff on the internet with them and their employees not using basic required PPE for their line of work, can very easily lose their insurance coverage.

Andrew has a drone. The altimeter feature present in most drone apps is highly accurate. He probably used the drone to accurately measure the height of the tree before cutting and thus was able to accurately place the ground camera just beyond the path of the falling tree. But that's none of my business.

I think your entire audience will like these B quality videos. You don't want to fall into the trap of second guessing your uploads if you think they might be b grade or not which means you might not upload them. Being your own harshest critique is great, but your audience will enjoy these videos no matter what. Even label them as B quality is fine as you have been.
