At our May 21, 2024 program held in recognition of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, three AAPI retired FBI agents related their experiences investigating Chinese organized crime. The agents delved into the underworld of the Triads and the gangs’ involvement in international drug trafficking, human trafficking and other crimes. This discussion highlighted how diversity within law enforcement has strengthened its ability to investigate and take down syndicates.
