You could tell the teen was on edge when he got there, but then half way through the tour you could see his defences relax and him warm up Anthony. I can’t imagine how hard it would be to be in his situation. Glad he’s in a safe and happy home.

@Malady Laughslast Maybe he didn’t look impressed because he had already seen the house before they filmed him? I noticed that Peter is wearing a different outfit when they welcomed him, compared to when he’s sitting in his bedroom during Anthony’s tour. So this video was probably filmed in more than one day. Besides, when the kid shows up at the door, there’s normally a social worker who accompanies him, but not in this video. So he had already been in the house before what this video shows us, and that’s okay. They were probably just recreating how their first meeting went. Anyway, I still enjoyed watching it and I hope he feels at home with Peter and Anthony ❤️

My mom too, so many of my sisters friends would just open the fridge and help themselves. She is a 'food pusher' so not sure if needed but heck it was always there

No fire pits please!!! I live next to someone who really enjoys polluting the air with his fire pit. Not only does burning wood release toxic particulates into the air, contributing to air pollution, the smoke floats into the homes of everyone nearby who don't want to have their whole house permeated with smoke. Just sayin'.

Just when I think I can't admire you more you do something like this Peter. It's such an amazing thing you are doing for this young man. This must be overwhelming for Kai, not only being placed into a new foster home, but also being filmed for videos like these. I'm sure he'll get more comfortable, but he'll also learn to think of all of your viewers as an even larger extended family who are here to support your family, including him now.

I had 2 boys 3yrs apart and yes that food bill is unbelievable. My partial list 5 gallons of milk a week 5 doz eggs wkly, assorted mix fresh fruits and vegetables about 5-8 lbs week and nothing to go thru a flat of Strawberry or blueberries in seaon for smoothies. Best thing for teenagers is Rules Consistency and House Chores. And make it very clear if they choose the Behaviour don't be surprised by the Consequences . Life has rules. Just be glad they take showers because teenage boys Stink. Oh no dirty clothes or tennis shoes in the bedrooms and teach them to wash there own clothes weekly. Peter you'll do fine,

I had 2 boys in their teens. They ate a lot but wow! Not 5 gallons a week😮 They're over 6' by young teens and 6'5" and 6'6" at the end of teens. I bought I think 2 gallons at the start of the week and said make it last.

Your home is lovely and Feng Shui wise :) The furniture placement, plants, splashes of color (art matters), de-cluttered etc., all promote calming and good energy. I'm a Feng Shui consultant for 26 yrs. and impressed with your natural ability Peter!

You're a legend, Peter! There's a lot to take in to support another child, yes another teenager but you're a blessing to these young vulnerable kids, and your community Peter, well done! And, Anthony's a son to love, and I like him because he's not selfish, keep it up, boy!
