Thanks again for the most enjoyable videos, Nino. One piece of advice from an Osaka native. Always add Katsuo dashi / Bonito stock to the takoyaki batter. It is absolutely necessary. It is as important as butter is needed for croissant dough. Generally, granulated versions (such as Hondashi) are used.

Fun fact. This dish is really similar to a danish dessert called "Æbleskiver" (Apple-slices). Where we put in cinnamon covered apples instead. Its usually eaten during Christmas. :)
