Justified Ascension is a Tier 9 accessory/weapon with the ability to increase in power as the game progresses, featuring a few unique movesets. Available on Wave 5 for $4,122, this weapon is exclusive to people who participated in the April Fools 2022 [A.F. 2022] event. ///MECHANICS This item will not take up an inventory slot. Justified Ascension, unlike every other weapon, is unsheathed and used by specifically pressing [LMB] while having no other weapons equipped. The user will also not face towards the direction of the mouse cursor with this weapon. While on the ground, attacking with [LMB] will apply forward velocity to the user. Being in mid-air and attacking with [LMB] will instead apply gradually-diminishing upward velocity to the user per swing along with having a quicker attack speed, similarly to Dualitist Ronin's midair swings. Movesets cannot be performed while a swing is ongoing. Hovering your cursor over an enemy while holding Justified Ascension and pressing [F] will lock your camera onto them. Alternatively, pressing [SHIFT + F] will randomly lock onto an enemy in the battlefield. // PEAK As the game session progresses, Justified Ascension will increase in power the more waves have passed. During full peak, Justified Ascension will bypass certain enemies/classes' shield. More peak will also result in an increased Damage Resistance. // REGENERATION During boss fights, the user will gain constant health regeneration. When the weapon is sheathed, the regeneration will be decreased. More peak will result in a faster health regeneration speed. // MULTIPLIERS [BOSS] - [x0.67] [ARMORED] - [x0.5] /// MOVESETS / WHIPSLASH - [Q] While locked on or hovering your cursor on an enemy, pressing [Q] will cause the user to quickly grapple themselves to where the enemy is. Upon closing the distance, the targetted enemy will take damage and receive knockback. Doing this will also reset the upward velocity provided while swinging midair with [LMB], allowing for increased airtime. More peak will result in a much farther range and damage of Whipslash. / RAZOR DEFLECTION - [R] Upon pressing [Q], the user will spin their blade in front of them, deflecting most incoming attacks back to enemies while also healing the user. More peak will result in an increased duration, and damage multiplier at the cost of a longer cooldown / SPRINT - [SHIFT] Upon use, the user will use stamina to sprint, increasing the speed of the user and allowing for better mobility. More peak will result in a faster sprinting speed and uses less stamina. /// STRATEGY Due to the knockback on this weapon, it is heavily discouraged for this weapon to be used as a weapon and more of a utility as it can provide the benefits of Regen Coil and Speed Coil early. /// TRIVIA The price of Justified Ascension is based off April Fools 2022, the day the April Fools event took place.
