It takes serious balls to be carrying that much anxiety and know how obvious it will be to people, and still be willing to be in front of a large crowd not knowing if you will fall apart or not. I'll bet the release of all that emotional energy, and the love from the audience resulted in profound healing for him, hopefully. Amazing performance, especially and even more so with all that he was feeling.

the young guy judge had his head down thinking it was gonna be bad. then the singing starts. amazing reaction and every time i see this and his reaction i shed a tear. i have a long list of favorite songs and they're from different genres. some i like the orinal version best. this is one where bette should sign over any rights she has to it. amazingly, mesmerizingly done. there are more out there. keep searching. i love finding talent where i've not heard of them before. hint: teddy swims, chris klafford, courtney hadwin, celine tam, angelica hale, angelina jorden, so many more.

I grew up in foster and group homes from a very young age and one of the first things u learn is how not to cry or show any sign emotional weakness even when life punches u in the face time after time. The only movie i have really ever sobbed while watching was the Color Purple and t his man just brought me to my knees to the point my hushand and son rushed in the room in a panic. It took a minute for me to stop blubbering enough to explain. When my daughter Rhiannon was about 6 she asked me if i was really an alien wearing a mom suit because she said all humans cry sometimes but i never do she was really into the men in black movies,so this has been a running joke for 6 years.she was in the showe r during this whole thing. Apparently, my son was waiting outside the bathroom. Do a fire and as soon as I heard the door open. This is what I hear rate he told you. Mom was actually human, she's in this. Sitting on the bedroom floor high presentating over one of her old people. Songs now you owe me 20 bucks? Apparently, she bet her brother 6 yearsvago $20 that i was from some other planet and my species either didnt have tear ducts or we were immune to sadness❤o

Fantastic performance, strong vocals not typically applied to Bette Midler's tender vocals when she sings this live. He was fantastic and could not have picked a more emotional song into which he could channel his nervous energy. Hope he's overcome listening to "people," as most would rather not see a peer have great success .
