in denmark they dont do that unless the cases are beat to shit and even then they might not take the game cause the condition of the case is so poor and they dont take games without cases

@@whocares3701 Ask your local GS if they keep them. Depending on the store they'll know to at least keep cases for popular games like Mario, Pokemon, etc.

I had a super mario maker poster that came with my pre order from gamestop and when i moved i left it in my old house. I really regret it now thinking back on it

my local gamestop gave me the case and manuals for games that i had loose for FREE ... I been collecting for PS3 games lately ... I got the Yakuza 3 and yakuza 4 for case and manuals for the games ...

yes im pretty sure ... but I was debating of buying it just for the case and manual ... I got lucky and found it (loose) on a pawnshop for cheap weeks before... I explain to the game stop employee about my collector goals for the PS3 ... and he saids quoting "dont buy the full price game just for the case and manual" ... he gave it to me for free ... i tried to offer to pay for just the case and manual ... but apparently they cant get money or something like that ... I guess he felt pity or just clearly nice guy ... he said no problem man ... Im frequent customer for that gamestop i always buy there when htere is a game i dont have so far ... if you wondering Im going for full JRPG/RPG/surival horror/Fighting games for the PS3 ... right now its dirt cheap to collect for right now BTW ... im mostly a ps2 collector but i got to the point i cant find games anymore (as in the more obscure ones) ... Im taking advantage of PS3 right now underrated library im surprise some of the games that came out in the system

Im pretty sure you know already.. but the yakuza games are still some what pricey even the ps3 ones for some reason especially yakuza 3

Hey @fantavision I have a question ... one of my gamestop has the game Trails of cold Steel I (ps3) the same price for the same game for the collector edition ....there both 24.99 ... they never had it display doh ... but when they where opening the drawers I spot(eagle sight) the Trails of Cold Steel Lion heart edition(ps3) ... Im not making a conspiracy... My question is if the manager was trying to sell the game separate to make more money or he tried to keep the rest for himself? Had you seen this before ? as gamestop employee .... sorry for the long question ... also thanks for the content more of these videos Please

I ended up getting the lion heart edition for 19.99 (because my brother in law is elite pro member) ... still very sketchy of the whole situation

Alot of collectors editions are just treated the same as a regular edition once they are used.

I bought ray man origins from game stop pre owned for $25 dollars with the case, Am I lucky or something, best game stop I've been to, if you ever go to Las Vegas go to the sna clubs next to Walmart and you should see krispy kreme next to it, it's near summerline

I got Pre-Ordered PS2's P3 Fes (29.99) for free along with 30 bucks cash from gamestop once, because the computer said I never picked up a Pre-ordered copy of Persona 3 (59.99) a year prior. And I did.... Even told the guy that, but he said that the computer is never wrong. Yeah Amazon gives you a discount after 2 weeks of release... but they also list it out of stock until the 2 weeks pass.

That's why I buy the majority of my games on Amazon. I've gotten so tired of Gamestop's gaming policy, and your story of hiking up 360 prices grinds my gears, but as Fanta said that's capitalism. Take the good with the bad, and take your business elsewhere if possible. I only go into a Gamestop if it's more convenient to get a game and get out.

Watched a few of your videos and keep wondering what that statue is on your shelf to the left? From this angle it's like one indistinguishable creature is sucking off another indistinguishable creature...? Can you please zoom in on it one time so I can see what it is and maybe explain why the hell you own something that appears the way it does? :P

I had the same thing happen. Some guy came in (I’m the only other customer other than the trader) And said well for that price I don’t want it you guys can just have it. The manager said well “sense your here kid you take what you want” I came home with some goodies. I remember it was a lot of ps2 games is what I got. I remember a bunch of title from my childhood (not worth anything more than the nostalgia I had) but the employees were like dude what the hell?!

I actually got free cases from gamestop as a customer because they didn't have the wii game discs that went in them, although I also bought a couple games without cases from them as a kid not knowing any better so it kind of evens out

They started pennying out all the PS2 games when I worked at GameStop. I managed to build my collection back after I had my games robbed as a child.

My GameStop just gives my brother and I the preorder stuff after a while. I don't think they were supposed to be doing that because they would have me take it in a corner with no cameras and hide it when I walked out. xD

Its so irritating to try and buy used games that have no case or manual. The gamestop around me have more used games without the case and manuals then games with it.

What's your take on what happened to Camelot? Do you think he has proof or a case? Why would Gamestop doing something That vile or evil? Not that I'm that surprised about it, but why would they put themselves at risk for so much bad press that this is going to get them? That makes no business sense to me. And what do you think they did to make his current job fire him? you think he can sue? so many questions!

Couldn't play whatever I wanted at work (unless I snuck in my gameboy micro lol), but if there was a lot of downtime especially at night it wasn't really a big deal! Probably played only like an hour a week on the demos, but I was on my phone ALOT because I would always get all of my work done ahead of time so when I was near close I didn't have much to do.
