I'm actually happy you mentioned that the giant forms we see during Dynemaxing, is just a projection, not a real thing, cuz for some reason, a lot of people seems to miss that.

Projection in physicalterms, like a hologram or an illusion? They still do damage. Giga Pikachu damaged a stadium with its head. So they have to actually be physically big.

@@k.r.99I think they mean that Gigantimax is the projection of the “ultimate” form of the Pokémon materialized with the dynamax energy.

I always thought GMax Centiskorch was based off the Omukade which was a giant centipede yokai that terrorised the mountains of Japan. And it’s main weakness being water and rock makes sense as the Omukade’s only weakness was human saliva.

13:50 I think Machamp's design is inspired by Kinnikuman (lit Muscle Man) a superhero / wrestler, so I'm guessing the dynamax is also some reference to that series. IDK since that series is like 83 volumes of manga.

I can't believe this channel doesn't have more subs with how beautiful the video editting and script is.. 😭 Never in my life would've expected to hear music from childhood animes like Mermaid Melody and Ojamajo Doremi while watching a Pokemon lore video. What is the track used in the Hatterene part? It sounds so familiar but I'm blanking on where I heard it from.

It’s also cool to see that while yes they are embodiments of peoples wants as well as their own. It’s clear the cultural stuff too. Where gender embodied the demon gate but still walking and having to trick them into entering in mega evolution to the actual gate. Mirrored in image in fact. The tongue sticking out and everything it’s also cool to see all the others as well I’m a sucker for the ghost types though.
