I believe that Talk Talk was the best band that ever came out of the UK 🇬🇧 PERIOD! And that includes ALL OF THE REST OF THEM!

Sometimes we are in different places (in many ways) including what we are listening to...and what we need at that time. I loved It's My Life when it came out, and it's always been in my heart and soul to this day. Then just a few weeks ago I was listening to it on KZfaq, and I started listening to more of them....I knew some of the other songs and I've been stuck on them, and digging and digging into Mark Hollis. I thought the same...where the eff was I?! lol Oh yea...different moment, and lesson at the time. Love to all.... 💜💙💜

Loved Talk Talk for years and just discovered Why is it So Hard just now with this video. Went and heard the studio version and got blown away by how killer this version is. Legit spend a couple weeks every summer binging their first album all day in the car when I'm driving around working. Right now is the couple weeks period for me, been on them all day for the last few days. Will come back here next year and confirm I'm still blasting them in the summer.

there are tracks (For what its worth 1986) from later albums...this was in 1983 ??
@progmeup3 жыл бұрын
This is because the band had originally planned to release a very different second album than the one that eventually came out. The plan was a concept album called "Chameleon Hour" - "My Foolish Friend" was the pre-release single. But then the plans were scrapped & "It's My Life" came out instead, with some remains of the original concept + new songs. Most of the songs that were dropped appeared as b-sides. "For What It's Worth" wasn't released at the time, but re-recorded (very similarly) in 1986... and once again relegated to a b-side. I tried to guess how the album could've looked like... probably not correct though kzfaq.info/sun/PLSmw_of-Nmn8SA_6V6tgckouanB24jjfS
