It's great to finally reach that point in your photography when you are comfortable and know that each and every session you will achieve great images and be able to provide exactly what your client is hoping for.

Case and point, I got ready to do a shoot in New Orleans and had my softbox and flash setup and then realized I had left my flash trigger at home, so it ended up being natural light only. I was reacquainted with the fact that my camera has a pretty high dynamic range to pull up shadows in post, so I didn't necessarily need a flash as much as I thought if I situated the subject somewhat under a light even under 3200 ISO. My challenge is getting more video. I'm so used to just photos that getting video is an after thought, so leveling up my video is where I'm at now.

Hi Jason. And thank you for a vdery intresting Chanel. I have a question. Wien you do a photoschoot with Flash on location. Do you use till or do you meter manuellt?

I don’t use a light meter and I don’t use TTL. I use evaluative metering on the camera and expose for my ambient first, then I adjust the power on my flash for proper exposure.
