No matter how important Kroos is currently, he will be phased out next season. Madrid will phase him out and someone else will take it over. Madrid can do it. No one is irreplaceable in Madrid. We are talking about a team that found replacements of Christiano, Casemiro, Bale, Ramos and Casilas. All these players were irreplaceable at their times.

but i fear that Real Madrid do not have midfielders who have similar playing styles as Kroos and Modric. The likes of Bellingham, Fede Valverde and Camavinga are different type of midfielders and possess different abilities. These players can not control the rhythm of the game and contribute to ball circulation in the same way as Kroos and Modric. They are neither as good as them, when playing out the ball from the back, when the opposition press aggressively.

Barca can't find another Messi but I think he will be replaced by Yamal. By replace it doesn't have to mean that Vini is the same as Ronaldo or Yamal is the same as Messi. What I am trying to say is their effect on the team is similar. They will tweak the team and tactics according to these new emerging players. Every player in these top clubs needs to be replaced or else it's not going to be a top club. What makes Barca and Madrid the best in European club football is the ability to replace their old legends with new ones.

3-4-3 with three proper CBs (Alaba, Militao and Rudiger) might work as well. Kroos and Tchouameni in the middle, Bellingham on the left and Valverde on the right. I dont think with that front three, the midfielders will have to go too forward and Bellingham will also get an opportunity to play in his natural position. During the transitional phases Tchouameni can drop down making a back four with 4 CBs (i dont know how well that'd work out but Guardiola sometimes does it too) or Bellingham as the CAM, pushing Mbappe deeper in the opponent's defence forming a diamond formation

Exactly, that’s my fear as i see someone like rodrygo and jude not being able to be used to their full potential. Anyway we’ll see that problem fade away after kroos and modric leave. Carlo Ancelotti not doing major changes, he only made some minor changes. If any big players do not get playing time , then don't do what other team big players do. Because it is real Madrid, if someone does , real Madrid don't think twice sell him.

a 4-3-3 with Alaba as LB & Fede as RB, in transition fede will be inverting into the midfield, maybe as a Right Midfielder (cuz he's super comfortable on the right flank). Hence Alaba, Rudiger & Militao creates a back 3, which will be defensively secure. In midfield Kroos, Tchouaméni & Jude with Vini Mbappe Rodrygo as front 3. which somehow creates a 3-4-3

Madrid will not go back to 433. It will stick to diamond with the ball and 442 without the ball, with mbappe and vini being front 2.. Looking at the perks that came in with diamond formation, like Carvajal's resurgence, jude as 10, kroos in pivot with either of tchouameni or fede, its illogical to go back to 433. Not to forget, if Davies comes in, this diamond set up will let him contribute in offense so so much.. So team will stick to diamond and at times 4222

Great insights. What if they go for a 4-3-3 turned into a 4-2-4 where Vini and Kylian attack from the left and Jude and Rodrygo from the right and in the mid you have Fede and Tchouameni or Kroos. Anyhow, I feel Don Carlo needs to change his tactics now if he has players who want to play and not just sit on the bench for long. Timely substitutions will allow all these highly talented players to contribute well rather than playing them for a full 90 minutes. This way, no player is strained too since you have Euros this year so each player needs to be in good form and health.

jude is comfy in the mid.. he's more like an attacking midfielder . Brahim Diaz would be a true center forward since he is very unpredictable.. Brahim and Endrick can replace each other.. Vini and Rodrygo on either wings are irreplaceable..Joselu/Arda can sub Rodry on the right. Vasquez can late-sub vini.. I see no place for Mbappe since he isn't comfortable in the Middle.

Until then, Bellingham and Brahim are doing the job decently if not perfectly. Whereas, Mbappe himself has said publicly that he doesn't like playing in the center, which means he has made up his mind in this regard. So, even Carlo's heat vision prolly won't work on his stubbornness LOL.😂

Kross can be phased out by camavinga cause last match against Granada he was playing the role Kross usually does ofc it was in a different way than Kross but yes it is possible for him to be the Kross replacement and also about the mbappe and vini front two maybe mbappe and vini both will shift towards the left (the way vini and Rodrigo did this season at times) and Jude will be central and fede or Rodrigo on the right

Zee bhai- what do you think of 4-2-3-1? I know Kroos is important but Madrid has to move on from him in 1-2 years. So sacrificing Rodrygo, who can be important for next 10 years, won't be right thing to do for Madrid. Back 4 me usuals honge then holding mids- Valverde and Thoucha. CAM- Jude which currently he holds and LW - Vini, RW- Rodrygo and ST- Mbappe.

If madrid pull Davies maybe he'll replace Carvajal he will surely play as a RB because he's one the paciest full back davies will help madrid offensive and defensive too because of his pace but mostly he will play as a offensive full back because he can dribble he can put crosses on the box accurately he'll also go interior and take shots with his strong foot and will help madrid to create a lots of chances. (I'm a Bayern fan )

There is talk between modric and club . He could stay for next season. He is okay if salary get reduce or he get less minutes on pitch . He has only madrid on mind . Madrid needs to take final decision whether they want to extend modric contract for one more season or they will just say goodbye and parted with him . Madrid is discussing this matters within the club members and will talk to modric after the ucl final . About toni kross he will talk about his future with madrid euro 2024 . I guess kross will stay for one more season. Madrid is willing to let him stay . ❤

He always sits deep , forming a back three and when there is an attack transition... He holds the ball and makes his line breaking passes... These are the characteristics of a regista...

Zee bhai. I think madrid might play in a 3-4-3 formation. If you see the transfer links with davies has cooled down. Also next season they might slowly phase out Carvajal. We have Rudiger Alaba Militao Leny yoro(strong links), mendy (who is very good defensively) and we are bringing back Rafa marin. So the depth is there for the 3 man defence.

We aren't playing with front3. We have seen how bad Rodrygo plays when he is in that right hand side and with Mbappe&Vini he isn't going anywhere near that left side. It's better if we play like how we've been playing this season i.e. 4312. Rodrygo has to be sacrificed and It's better to cash in and bring someone like Writz alongside Alonso in 2025. We'll have Vini&Mbappe as forwards, Wirtz number 10, Belli&Valverde B2B with Tchoua anchoring the midfield
