To the Boomies always complaining that they are shit ( and still 3 are brought) To the guardian druids just smoking pot whilst mashing ironskin/barkskin/frenzied regen when needed just spamming swipe/thrash like the gigachads they are.

On the resto kick: Despite all the discussion I think one important point was missed - having another kick might not enable you to do stuff differently, but it may make stuff more reliable to have a back-up. This is especially true in PUGs, where people tend to kick the same spell accidentally.

This was actually so sick - everyone was super knowledgeable and all the talking points were really interesting!

1 extra person kicking can make a huge difference around + 15 keys for some of the dungeons. 2 people in a pug kicking is often the difference between a key failing or not.

Should have gotten Maymays and/or Guiltyas for Feral too, Psybear alone is a bit like chaos in human form.

Balance needs a DoT build with a DoT spender (eg: Stellar Flare cost Astral Power and be much stronger), and have a better AoE Astral Power spender (eg: Starfall stack with Stellar Drift being an internal buff with a 12s cooldown without putting a cooldown on Starfall and reduce the bonus damage from 50% to like 25%). Overall I feel like Druid was made quickly and since it was first they didn't realize the potential of talents and now I see Shamans with a TON of talents with significant change to the class.

I feel like convoke should be on general tree, seems like that would give each spec a little more flexibility

2:11:00 totally agree. I was playing Feral for a while and just felt like I was a worse version of an Assassination Rogue. The class needs a re-work to stand out and be different in some way. I was hoping the new expansion with new talent trees would solve for that, but it doesnt seem so. I do like that theres an option for a bleed build, but we'll have to see if its powerful enough to be useful.

The problem I have with the resto tree conversation is that no one noticed that improved convoke no longer says that it reduces the channel and cooldown. This means that if you take that improved convoke you could have the possibility of using flourish with 90%+ chance with improved convoke instead of around 50% the way it is now. If it stays the same that it does now you would almost never take flourish in M+ if you can have it that high of a chance to use it on convoke. The only difference is that convoke would have a 2 min cooldown where flourish is 1.5, but that 30 second cooldown is made up for the fact that you also use a few regrowths, rejuvs, and wild growths.

Explain to me how moonkins get innervate,b rez, and trents. Guardian gets INSTANT b rez and stampeding roar. But feral gets only stampeding roar. Give us fairie fire or leader of the pack as baseline. Lack of utility kills us.

all i wish was that more things were actually baseline, i feel like the trees are as big and bloated as they are to make leveling more engaging at the cost of intuitive build making and actually interesting decisions

Thank you so much for approaching the feral discussion with, for lack of a better term, compassion. I've mained feral since Cata, I bring it to mythic raid, rated pvp, and high end mythic plus. This season, I actually worked my way into the top one hundred feral druids worldwide for mythic plus score. I love the spec, I'm passionate about it, and I think it's the most fun thing to play in this game. I really hope Blizzard not only overtunes it to bring some much needed focus with the community spotlight, but examines a few inefficiencies within the spec itself. Psybear was right on the money with some of our utility (Rebirth, Incap Roar) taking us out of form, effectively costing two GCDs to use, and Berserk being such a useless cooldown. This season was such a breath of fresh air with Sickle of the Lion being attached with tier, because popping our big CD actually felt like blowing a cooldown, it felt impactful! I would love to see some unique raid utility given to feral as well to give raids a reason to bring one, or at least make it feel like they're not sacrificing a melee spot to the 'weirdo player'. Outlaw getting their CDR party buff literally enraged everyone in the feral channel in Dreamgrove lol. A lot of people say bring back Leader of the Pack, but essentially this is the new Mark of the Wild, which every druid can now bring. Honestly, I'd say give the CDR buff to feral, but that might be too much of a stretch. I don't know what the answer is, but I hope something can be done with the spec, because even at this point I don't see myself playing literally anything else. Either the spec gets buffed or I resign myself to trying to excel on a gimped character.

i think when it comes to bear in M+. you take infected/endurance on the top 1/3 to fill out the 8 points instead of going far right with mangle/ironfurs and that allows you to get-- Sleeper/Untamed/Incarn/Elunes/GG and the all that other stuff too

we 100% need templates for these talent trees - even if there are only like 2 builds viable per spec.

i started tanking for the first time after being a healer main for about 12 years and im stoked that bear (the tank im playing) is looking really good.

raiding with the resto tree, its totally possible to have a heavy tank healing build while still doing really good raid healing

insane combo inc st healing: rejuv (with germination), overgrowth, invigorate, into slamming nourish. so with 10-20% mastery-- Rejuv, germ, lifebloom(x3), wg, regrowth. 70-140% mast bonus -> nourish slamming for 210-420% modifier on nourish. i could easily see this being basically a lay on hands every 3 seconds and if the target is taking massive dmg invigorate just adds that value of big duration healing on top of nourish

So much good options u can play with. And I get the fear that 95% of the casual playerbase would cry so much that talenttries would be removed on patch 10.1.5. It seams to "complex" for the average wow player nowa days. But hell I love that bear try. And I´m a bit hypted now.

Growl is a smart man. He looks at everything very open minded and can see why some players prefer a talent to another and that being okay. No tunnel vision mindset.

All of the class trees have far too many dps abilities. I feel like healer and tank specs can just go ham on utility but dps specs are tied into dps talents. Druid is absolutely the exception and it's fantastic for it. DKs for example by the time you take the dps stuff witch will be mandatory for raid, you have like 2 points left. They need to add a load more utility options to the class trees, take out a load of the dps options and have the spec trees the DPS majority. Then the class trees will feel more fun and you can still take all your DPS options in the spec tree.

Psybear, i think we need a ranged/melee combo class that places bleeds on targets in melee and then bolsters its ranged attacks based on distance from the tgt/how many bleeds are on the tgt, which sounds pretty epic. The range increasing the dmg is important since it will force the ranged/melee combat instead of just applying bleeds in melee then just doing ranged spells in melee or make the ranged spells have a min distance before you can cast them.

As for balance tree, even though Starfall is not priority in ST fights, we use Stellar Drift to allow us to cast while moving, allowing us to maintain dps while avoiding mechanics. But unfortunately, we need to spend point in Starfall to get that talent.

For Boomy i would go with: Furor[4 sec no astral cost] start in normal form and switch to boomy. And everything that increases starsurge damage. Pump and dump boomy. Gives you like 3 or 4 free starsurges at the start.

Kind of surprised they didn't go for Orbit Breaker for balance, especially since you also get Primordial Arcanic Pulsar too. Getting both seems way more powerful than Twin Moons and Umbral Intensity. Twin Moons is literally useless single target and against multitarget you're really only saving a couple of GCD's (which if you have a Solar Eclipse phase, isn't really an issue). Don't get me wrong, Twin Moons IS good multi target, but I'd just rather have full moons smashing down. Also as balance, you have enough points to get Incapacitating Roar, Well-Honed Instincts, and Furor without sacrificing anything DPS related. You'd probably drop Improved Barkskin and Improved Frenzied regeneration, but honestly I feel like Well-Honed Instincts is better than both of those combined. Not 100% certain about taking Furor, but there might be opportunities to be out of Moonkin form for the 15sec. between pulls which would allow you to immediately cast Starfall and/or Starsurge for free.

I feel like some of the spec trees needs more notes so you make more diverse builds and choices. I think having access to almost every note at the same time leaves less diversity in the build.

My one big problem is I only picked balance as my main spec because of cast while moving and I think stellar drift is mandatory for me to enjoy the class which really makes the balance tree feel annoying for me.

On the discussion about the interrupt: I see it comping ppl grouping in MM+; you don't have the interrupt=> kick

I think Ion was fu.... hard by a feral when he was still playing. That's why we are at the point where we are now. Feral is the laughing stock and everyone asks why we don't switch to Moonkin.

One thing that the rdruids didn't mention about the spec tree. You will literally never take verdant infusion over flourish idk why those two are stacked as a choice. Verdant should be stacked with one of the M+ damage talents like adaptive swarm or circle of life and death. Verdant being there just means you can never play it.
