This is so interesting to get such a casual all round update on all things HA from Paulus, without the focus on release info.

It's fabulous to think that upstream manufacturers are now using Home Assistant as a part of their testbed! It really goes to show how solid HA is, and seems to me as a huge mark of approval.

Great podcast. I'm new to HA - been using it for a little under a month - but I was instantly captivated by the freedom of choice and the endless possibilities. So much so that I without hesitation subscribed for a year on Nabu Casa - mainly just to support development (note: i have no problem with setting up my HA and Google interplay for secure remote connection). This podcast was amazing because we see the people behind the scenes and the future of HA to come. Keep up the great work HA team! 👍

I want Home Assistant to say "I can't handle that request should I ask ChatGPT?" Alternatively I want to say "Nabu Casa ask ChatGPT_______." To make the flow better ideally Home Assistant would repeat the question well ChatGPT was processing the text. That gives feedback so we know the question was interpreted correctly and it fills in the time gap the same way people say "um" to hold the “conversational floor”.
