She looks beautiful in Freedom but she is associating it with her mom which means older….it’s not how she looks, it’s how she feels………in time with wearing it, that might go away. There is going to come a time when the long hair may not feel comfortable for her. A wig HAS TO make you FEEL GOOD in it or you won’t wear it! She would never cut her hair in that style so why would she want to wear it short. I say, get what you love or you are just wasting your money. ❤❤❤

It's a very interesting area to explore isn't it? I also see my mom in me when I'm in my short wigs. I enjoy long wigs for special occasions but one granddaughter struggled with seeing me like that when she was little because I didn't "look like nanna"!

Oh how this rings true for me, which is no surprise to you Ro. Anybody who wears a wig is going to relate to this video. I remember Shar's earlier vidoe from a few weeks ago, and I think Shar rocks that Freedom so beautifully. She's a lovely lady, and her husband is a pure gem, for all his shortsightedness about her future in wigs, but we'll let him discover that on his own. I think this is a great time to let you know I just purchased (among others, this IS my birthday month after all) my THIRD Freedom. I now own the basic Freedom--my first from your company, Freedom with Roots, and Lace Front Freedom! I love all of them, so of course I didn't stop there, there's THREE MORE in that purchase. It was my birthday and I did go ridiculously, deliciously overboard, but how do you resist? And why should you? Right?

Are we going to get a "rest of the Story" with Shar? I loved seeing her trepidation about how different it was, and how supportive her husband was! xo Did she decide to give that Freedom a try? Inquiring minds want to know! lol I hope so, she is so very pretty, and obviously a very classy lady, she carried that off well! Great advice to her on being out in public, Ro! I needed to hear that for myself as well!

Thank you again Shar for modeling and sharing your wig journey. It's always helpful to get the input of others who see us every day and would be the first to notice a change. I love my Sheila wigs and have decided for now, that is my jam. I love all the wigs and want to wear them all, I have also ordered a few different wigs but rarely wear them, I daily grab my Sheila, she's my fave. I have a few in Harvest Gold and a few in Irish Spice. Perhaps one day I'll go wild and try a Freedom but for now, it's Sheila all day every day! As a side note, I have a couple of Carlys and though they were fun and adorable, I wasn't wearing them but I have a friend, who is 88 years young and just retired, who tried them on and absolutely loved them so I am gifting them to her. She hasn't been able to afford to get her own and when I saw her light up wearing Carly, I knew it was meant to be. This will help her with this new chapter in her life and be a future Godiva customer. Have a great week all!

My hair is brown and I have fun with different wig styles and colors ! Why not ?! To me wigs are a part of the complete look I'm going for at the time. For instance, I like wearing silvery grey with certain blue clothing and red wigs with green. Have fun ! Go for it ! Enjoy !

She was beautiful in this wig, and, if she looks like Mom she has some good genes because she looks like she looks young to me. She sees her Mom as Mom and that’s not how others saw her… they saw a beautiful woman.

I agree with Shar. I saw her other videos and really liked her in the topper and Alana. This doesn't bring her alive as much. I want her to listen to herself! This feels like they are trying to talk her into something she is not excited about. Normally I love my Monday Godiva videos, this one is bothering me.

Why do you turn your wig inside out when its not being worn?

Because if you don't wear the wig for a while, you will create a crimp right in the middle of the hair if you do NOT turn it inside out. My way keeps the wig from flattening out. xo Ro
