Hey Henning/Morten, thanks sharing this interview! Please consider annotating these longer videos with the new topic markers that youtube has. It would make it much easier to find the parts of the interview that interest us when we don't have an hour and a half to listen to the whole thing. Thanks!

I just like to say, I know he felt like he overdid it going into the ego, and I'm very fortunate to be writing a book right now about ego. Having spent an enormous amount of time over the past year meditating heavily and practicing, I can say and see he's got a great view! He is right on it and it makes me happy to see! So thank you for the "ramble on". What is right? It's not still, it's not exception, it's letting go.

Please share this video to Jannette, you know, the girl who made a whole rant video about why she quitted her job at Disney, cause she felt they owned her a full project just because. Btw, awesome video, I learned so many things, such a legend.

He mentioned a really good point about less confidence and parents thing. I am a pure example of that. I really love making 3d arts and creatures. And my parents never even bought me a graphics tablet even though I asked for it several times. And let alone buying different course or lesson online I haven't even been able to buy a good enough pc that can run blender 2.8 smoothly. You guys are really lucky to do this job for living. I live in bangladesh. In my country there is no such thing as doing what you love for living. Its more like do what your society tells you to do even if you hate that.

12:30 - 15:40 A lot of people in my life are like that and it sucks, if it wasnt for my own personal fortitude and wanting to prove people wrong I wouldn't be on the tail end of year 2 of self teaching, and people seeing I've grown leaps and bounds. It went from get a real degree and get a real job, to keep it up and a studio is gonna notice you, keep improving and you're gonna go places. It went from purely negative and destructive feedback to positive and aspiring feedback. Like most of us I'm not where I want to be yet, but I'm teetering on the edge of breaking the wall of Ba Seng Sei (as shane olson would put it)

I'm starting out studying VFX at uni, can someone give me advice whether I should stick with Maya or blender? I have a little experience with both and think their both good but thinking for the future and which I should invest most of my time in. Does it really matter at this point? It's a bit of a headache and overwhelming with how many programs I'm supposed to learn on top of this like zbrush, Houdini, nuke so wanted to make sure I go down the right path. Any advice would be appreciated thankyou.

Hey guys, I have question I have bought your complete zbrush bundle and it’s amazing, I’m an architect and right now I’m into zbrush to model 3D monuments for a famous sculptor. The question is I’m used to do the architectonic background or where the statue it’s gonna be place in ARCHICAD and then render in LUMION, since I have been using zbrush to sculpt this organic shapes and human anatomy, I would like to know if there is a way to save the 3D object in zbrush and then move it into ARCHICAD as a 3D object and just blend them to render in lumion
@SLC-ww1ql
@SLC-ww1ql 3 жыл бұрын
Also I’m open to suggestions to use another software, what I’m doing right now is just render in lumion the architrctonie space then blend in photoshop but it’s way too much work and it would be easier to just blend both objects in one 3D software therefore improve the object in photoshop as one single photo render
@FlippedNormals
@FlippedNormals 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Sebastian, thanks for the support :) I'm not familiar with how ARCHICAD works, but you are able to export an OBJ file from zbrush. Probably the most common and accessible format there is. So perhaps your software is able to import that?
