Yes, the public sees through these awards that Harry and MM have been collecting for occupying space and air. These two don't realize and won't realize that respect is earned. Harry did not serve with distinction. He was in Afghanistan for weeks when a typical soldier is there for months. He was protected and insulated from any real conflict. He was given a position he did not qualify for because of nepotism. He failed his pilots training multiple times and then was giving a gun role that again he didn’t qualify for. This is not honor.
