Kevin O'Sullivan and Isabel Oakeshott question the lack of communication from the Spanish police and inconsistencies in their statements surrounding the search for missing British teenager Jay Slater.
They speculate on possible scenarios, including a drugs deal gone wrong, and emphasize the importance of finding Jay to ease his family's distress. This all comes after Jay Slater was reported linked with a convicted drugs dealer hours before he went missing.
The mother of missing Briton Jay Slater has said donations will be used to support volunteers helping to find her son in Tenerife.
The 19-year-old, from Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire, disappeared after setting off to walk back to his accommodation on the holiday island on June 17.
In a statement on the GoFundMe appeal Get Jay Slater Home, which had raised almost £50,000 as of Wednesday, Debbie Duncan thanked the “vast” generosity of donors, saying her family are “grateful for all of your support and kindness during this unimaginable time”.

He has an Arabic name so my comment goes on the assumption that he is Arab (but he might not be). My parents are Arab immigrants and in Arab culture, people don't really go by their surnames, but use your father's first name as your middle name and grandfather's first name as your last name. So it isn't weird at all that he might sometimes not use his surname, but his middle and "last name" (grandfather's name)...it really confused me when I did a study abroad in Egypt 😂 because people called me by my grandfather's first name instead of my surname

The drug dealer lived in Barking, east London. He is a Somali who masterminded the distribution of Class A drugs in South Wales. The South Wales Police raided a house in Cardiff and he was arrested, found guilty and sentenced to 9 years in prison. It can't be a coincidence that Cardiff has a sizable Somali population.

It’s been happening in Tenerife for at least 20 years now. The police know the club owners know. It’s very common in Tenerife for people just to vanish!! I wonder why that is huh 🤔. 🤷. I’m sure we all know the reason now. As you say though this is very common knowledge in Tenerife multiple foreign nationals have disappeared from the island over at least 20 years if you look into it it’s not rare it’s a few every year. ✌️

Lucy also booked the Airbnb for 1 night for a couple. Not sure if it was for these guys, probably for the extra night they needed to stay extending from Monday to Tuesday as police were questioning them so travel to the UK the next day on Tuesday. Also the police found £/$30,000 on them, so how did they get that back through customs at Luton airport when your only allowed to bring back £10,000 maximum.

Police really need to understand what those two guys were up to in Tenerife. Why were they staying in such a remote location in a cheap Airbnb? What were they doing at the nightclub (they are quite old and don't look like ravers and they were able to drive home in the early hours of the morning so it's unlikely they were out to party and get smashed). Why did Jay go all the way back with them, only to leave a few hours later, what did they do at the Airbnb? Why didn't they help him to get home (they could have driven him back as they obviously had a car).

Qassim who it appears rented the Airbnb under a false name said 'I know Jay, through friends, I'm not going to bring someone back to mine if I don't know them.' So who are those friends? Could it be Lucy or Brad who introduced Jay to them and possibly their 'business' (whatever that might be involving nightclubs in the early hours of the morning but not partaking in the regular nightclub festivities).

I was more going off the music genre of the rave Jay was attending which was very high energy techno, this tends to draw a younger 18-30 crowd as can be seen from the videos of the event. Did Spanish police look to see if other cell phones pinged in the same area as Jay's cell did? Parents always sugar coat their children. How did Jay get the money to go to Tenerife? Did he have a real job before he left? If his fellow travel companion 18 year old Lucky does travel frequently and comfortably if I was the Spanish and British police, I'd start looking into her background. My bet is Jay is a goner.
