My Mum was a Sgt in the Womans Royal Airforce. She received the Long Service and Good Conduct medal. When her husband went to Sandhurst she was then unwanted with my 18 yr old sister. They were homeless nobody helped them.... she died at only 55 homeless broke and unable to get her pension. We can't keep women and girls safe before the trans problem and the illegal immigrants.

I live on Portland, five minutes from the port. My favourite swim spot is also next to the port too. A lone swim, at night is a magical thing. Not any more. The inhabitants of the barge haven't even arrived yet and i am going to have to stop doing things that bring me joy and keep me mentality well. 😢

The key issue as someone says below is they get more than us. The state has never once paid to house me. It has never fed me. NHS Gps are hard to see yet these 500 young men are getting a private GP for nothing. Loads of British people are homeless but only these young men plenty of whom lie and throw out passports and all sorts to get on your benefits gravy train get priority. I work at least 50% of the year just to pay my income tax. The other half a lot of time will be to fund council tax, VAT, car tax, insurance premium tax etc etc. I am working 6 or 7 days a week full time to keep going and the 140,000 asylum seekers are kept in luxury hotels at times that we could not afford in a month of Sundays.

The barge cost will not be less than the hotels.

How is one barge going to solve this crisis? Before you know it they'll be barges all over and North African men taking over our tiny island. I'm a Brit living in USA and I'm so shocked and horrified as to what is going on over there 😞😢

We helped a mentally ill veteran who was left in the winter with no food, no heating fuel and no water, funding for one night in a hotel was out of the question and social services were not interested at all, £5 cash was offered from them but we never got it. Guess what, most of the social services and mental health team are recent immigrants.

If I go anywhere as a British citizen, I have to have a valid passport, and have a valid visa for the place I am going to, just to go for a holiday. To work in any country you have to be vetted, and have a full visa to do so, and have to sign various documents to say you understand the rules of the country you are going to. These DD's have neither a passport or visa, and are not asked to sign anything, why are they being treated differently, than anyone else in the world that migrates legally?

My blood boiled, I am a carer, looking after my autistic son, got 75 pounds a week, struggling to piad for my electric bill,food bill, my teeth over a year never been check as nhs patient so no appointment for me only when emergency. Uk government is idiotic as not looking after their own citizens...
