When Diarra played for my team Arsenal I remember thinking...he should be playing rugby...low center of gravity just makes him harder to put down.

Great call. I hope you saw Papa Bouba Diop's performances for Senegal in the 2002 World Cup. He was a lynchpin in that team that scored the best counter attacking goal in World Cup History vs Uruguay. Look it up!

@@Jacob-jy9rj he is a very unique player because of his physicality and off the ball work rate ...he would be stronger/ more physical version of Kante but also on the ball he was soo good he was similar to Modric .... I am Barcelona fan but Lass was quality player(kicked a lot of Barcelona players but I respected his tenacity🤣🤣🤣)....

Diarra was way more talented than Mikel and still had a pretty decent career (over 100 games for Real Madrid, won La Liga and Ligue 1, won the FA Cup, 30+ caps for France etc), even though he could have achieved more and going to Russia from Real was a strange move to say the least.

@@user-wg5lk6lq1p Lass was very underrated in Madrid. They really didn't take to him for some reason and so he moved to Russia, but for me he was a class act. I had quite a few arguments with them over Lass. Great player.
