Here's a video where I perform with the TAMA Dyna-Sync direct drive double pedal. High speed potential, great control on slower BPM, good reactivity, and power ! Very versatile !!

the dynasync are amazing pedals, but it may be a bit of a system shock to go from something thats got a much heavier feel like the 5000s to something like the dyna sync, if you can, try them side by side first.
@jabasto4 жыл бұрын
Hi! I'm learning how to play drums seeing some videos here on KZfaq, including yours. In your video you show very well the double pedal technique. I see that you play the drum pedals without shoes. Is it because the contact between the foot and the drum pedal is better? Do you recommend it?
@nickdraytondrums62944 жыл бұрын
It's all about opinion, but for me it's a lot easier to go faster with shoes, with socks you have to work a lot harder for it to move But whatever you are more comfortable with is better

@AP021123 жыл бұрын
@@grxygxds Trick pedals are by far the best made pedals. They perform excellent but only if that’s the feel you want! They are nothing like standard chain pedals and are more for really high speed with quick technique. The Dynasync is much more like a chain pedal but still with the instant response of direct drive. I’d recommend if you are coming from chain pedals to go with Tama, and replace the driveshaft. It will be the best pedal combo you have ever played.

without going over the setting you use on the pedal, this demo really doen't mean anything
@ChordxClient4 жыл бұрын
Tiger Koehn he said it was a factory setting right out of the box and that’s how he’s playing them
@TigerKoehn4 жыл бұрын
No, that incorrect. His footboard is raised at the head where there is a mechanism that allows the foot plate to be raised higher or lowered to adjust the foot plate or “ longboard” just before the direct drive arm . This can only be adjusted with a drum key and it’s quite tight not easy to loosen. Look at the video . I own this pedal and when it comes from the factory this bridge piece is neutral-not raised, as he has it in the video. It can also be lowered to adjust for lowering the footboard . So, again, he adjusted it.
@ChordxClient4 жыл бұрын
So from your standpoint (since you know his settings already it seems), how would this video have benefited you?

ChordxClient no, I wanted to know what he adjusted. There are 7 differ readjustment you can make . That was the point of my comment. How the video help if he doesn’t explain his setting. I’m repeating myself. You answered your own question. Of course it doesn’t help. Me knowing the pedal for myself and my setting is not the issue. His settings are the issue
@TigerKoehn4 жыл бұрын
No Ace, it’s not about taking it easy. That’s one codependent comment. If someone reviewing says something incorrect or false then any sane person would call them out on it. Take it easy? Hahahahaha

Tama STILL have asymmetrical beaters on the double version, and the worst quality driveshafts, so lazy, such a pity.
@cheezruff2 жыл бұрын
Guessing you mean asymmetrical beaters means they are not evenly spaced against the vertical line axis of a BD.
