Oh YEAH...The wonderous world of Superstar,Crestar,Granstar,Granstar Custom,Granstar II,Imperialstar,Artstar,Artstar II,Artstar Custom,Rockstar,Swingstar,Rockstar Pro,Rockstar DX ....1980-1994 Tama was a magical and glorious time.A time of real thunder makers. Then entered the realm of baby toms.With thinner/weaker sounding drums,smaller hardware and less mass shells,tree farmed fast growth sub par wood shells. We have been sadly stuck in this era since 1995 ish. Nothing like sitting behind a vintage Tama kit though.with a row of power toms (which are the true normal size toms) and a couple of 24 or 26 kicks and making the neighborhood shake from the mighty Tama rumble
