My elementary school teacher was livid every time it would go off in class. I never knew it had a pause feature either. RIP the 50+ tamagotchis that died while I was at school. 😅

banned from schools is an understatement. These things cause my elementary school principal to have a shouting fit during the morning announcements back in 1998 when I was in the first grade.

Even though that is how it is supposed to be pronounced I still dont like it and refuse to pronounce it that way.
