Geez this episode is dark for a kids show. I wish I could watch the other episodes, but most of them are lost, sadly. As a fan of tamagotchi who owns a few, and loves watching the anime, it’s kind of sad

Japanese. At the time this anime was broadcast, there was a Tamagotchi on the market called "Tenshicchi no Tamagotchi" that looked exactly like the angel in the anime. I think this episode was probably made to promote the product. Excuse my comment posted two years ago. I just wanted to comment because it is an old animation and I thought many people might not know the background. From the generation that spent their childhood with Tamagotchi.

Back in around late May 1997, especially for someone living in the U.S., this would have happened everywhere in real life, especially if you're a 90's kid. It was so devastating that schools had to console traumatized kids.
