As the tamarind is very important in kitchen, and this is the perfect season of tamarind harvesting, we made it our content. Tamarind has a unique harvesting method and preservation system. These preserved tamarind can be used more than a year, if stored well. Plucking it by shaking the branches, then collect it, sun-dry, remove the cover, again sun-dry, remove seeds, mixed with salt, made balls finally sun-dried. Then stored well.
Do you know that the tamarind seeds can be edible, just for enjoyment. But it should be roasted in fire until it splutters. It's outer cover must be removed before eating. But too much of eating is not good.
