This week we've got a bit of a monster video! We're going to fit a behind the axle steering kit from UKMonsters.co.uk and a set of aluminium axle braces.

Never been into Clod`s ,so never really looked into mods etc for them BUT this is getting be interested. another great content vid AND well done showing the brace error : )

Clods are a lot of fun, if you can source some vintage parts you can put together a high riding blinged up chrome machine, or you can build a low sling racer. There's a vast amount of options, plus it's a bit different from all the modern RTR's that generally just work out of the box... Where's the fun in that?

Get some 6/32x3/8 stainless bolts and replace the axle tube nut and bolts. Makes changing axle tubes much easier not having to split the gearbox every time. Clod project is great ! I'm saving my pennies to do a complete clodshop overhaul on mine. Thinking about putting same chassis as you with all their other mods Inc poss rear steer also bta.

Thought you were going to solve the body issue by extending the wheelbase by moving the front axle forward? Looks like the shocks, bottom and top links can all move forward equally to keep the geometry. Great video, you make everything so clear. Loved the cocktail stick tip. Thanks. G

Quite right, the wheelbase gets extended in #8. It does help the appearance quite a bit
