In this video I showed how to paint a vintage Tamiya Ford F150 Ranger XLT MK2 hard body shell in TS-51 Racing Blue Metallic, applied the vintage decals and took it for a light run.

Looks great. I recently found a NIB Tamiya Ranger and been fighting the urge to build it. Very nice restoration!

Thank you, it took 6 months all up including the chassis restoration which is on the previous video. Wow, a NIB one? That’s something special. That would definitely be a hard decision! My first video was building a MK1 Ranger that had been partially built by someone else and they gave up many years ago so was perfect to rebuild and finish. The videos started there purely for me to record and watch back because you can’t redo these things!
