My S/O has had chronic asthma since early childhood. And while I may never know what it is like t live with that, I have experienced the fear during every attack, very cold, and with the way the world is now, I am especially scared. I have my own issues that lead me susceptible but I worry about my S/O even more. and when people overlook or make light of medical conditions like this it aggravates me.

My girl and son has asthma the amount of times I sat by her bedside and cried cos she was unresponsive to med the amount of times we almost lost her cos of it . My son put in an indused coma he was unresponsive on my living room floor watching the paramedics give him cpr standing by feeling helpless its careless saying its nothing

It hurts my heart so much seeing how thoughtless and careless Tana is with her health. My mom fought so hard to get better just to be here another year or two or longer is God willing. The doctors had answers as to the areas she needed to work on that would help her health improve, but she had so much against her. The biggest problem was her lungs, years of fighting asthma and being a smoker had taken its toll. She had COPD for a decade before it was complete explained to her how important wearing her sleeping mask was. But by then she got congestive heart failure (which later gave her heart problems), and at that point we finally got the specialist that explained that the decade she didn’t wear her bi-pap machine lead to her diabetes worsening thanks to the pulmonary edema that developed which worsened her COPD which worsened the edema and then gave her congestive heart failure. She had been through carbon dioxide poisoning, which was horrible for her and me as I took care of her; she was a completely different person then, she almost died then. But I got at least one more year with her, closer to who she truly was at least, but still lost and fighting to be healthy, fighting to breath. It’s so frustrating watching someone who doesn’t care through their life away, while my mom would have given anything to have just been given a chance to fight and possibly win her lungs back. I lost her last December, she hadn’t been feeling well, so I stayed home from work. Then she just stopped breathing and we couldn’t get her breathing again. To anyone being so blaise about your health, remember to consider your loved ones and all who fight for you and your well being; and maybe consider those who fought so hard to live but couldn’t. You’re here, don’t let your life waste away, please. Please.

I’ve had my blood pressure taken regularly since I was 4. Yeah it’s can be uncomfortable when it get super tight and I’ve had my arm start to go numb because of it. What she doesn’t know is that the higher your blood pressure the tighter the cuff gets. When you speak and move around you effect the reading. Could be why it was so sore and tight
