After many requests, I react to "Tanah Airku," performed by Lea Simandjuntak and the Twilite Orchestra under Addie M.S. I had to keep it together for this one!

Every Indonesian who lives in overseas would cry listening to this song. While, Addie MS is the best orchestra master in Indonesia. If you have opportunity to fly with Garuda INDONESIA Airways, then you'll have opportunity to listen to Garuda's music that played by Addie MS' orchestra (Twilight Orchestra). We are very proud of him and his orchestra.

If you are Indonesian, and not cry when you hear this when you are far away from indonesia, you are not true Indonesian. The song is about a sense of belonging of your homeland, and missing of your roots and your home.

I've seen many versions of this song and I always gets so emotional, breaks into tears often. this song, Ibu Pertiwi and Gugur Bunga are some of our patriotic songs which brought me to tears. you can find those songs in many versions in youtube as well and I hope you can react to one of them.
