I always have a tandem rig tied up and ready to go in my wade pack. Works great for snook and reds too. I run a minnowZ or Diezel minnowZ on the rear weighted and a 4" jerk shadZ on the front weightless. I only run one swivel on my rig, I run 30lb fluoro and tie the whole rig with a palomar knot to the swivel and loop knots to the hooks. Works great gets em every time

these are my favourite type of trout fishing videos i have learned a lot from your videos as I am young and have much to learn lately I caught a nice brook trout while targeting bass!!

I have stopped using wide gap hooks , especially when you run into smaller trout.. I find that many fish are injured by the wide gap hooks. Often coming up through the head and eyes. I try to minimize injuries to fish that will be released. I don't see much difference in hookup ratio using standard hooks.
