I know the reason u didn't rank it higher is because it was harder to work with and took longer to set down but OMG I am amazed at how beautiful and BLURRED your face looks with this Laura Mercier foundation. Oh wow, I'm only a few minutes into the video but I ready to guy buy it 😅.. the Gucci is kinda too dry looking, the Mario seems to be very pore enhancing but okay I'm ready to tell u what looks the most beautiful ❤️❤️ the Laura mercier looks so so good on u! It looks moisturizing but not overly glowy but it blurs and perfects like a dream.... It's so gorgeous and the other one that I thought looked really good on u was the Chantecaille because of how skin like it looks but overall that Laura Mercier looked the best on this side of the screen but that just one person's opinion babe and I was so thankful for the video to begin with!!! I love when u do foundation or concealer videos!!!! Yes ma'am!!!Love u❤have a great week!

I bought the Guerlain: Terracotta Le Tint Healthy Glow Foundation based on your review. WOW, I love it! It goes on so smoothly, and it's so long lasting.. I don't like the fragrance, but I feel like it's worth it. Now I want to try the Chantecaille but will definitely wait for a sale.

The reason why I’m a subscriber of yours is bc you use makeup in a realistic way. No matter if a foundation is full full coverage you’ve never applied anything in a mask-like way unlike other beauty influencers and I really appreciate that. It grosses me out when people apply foundation and their face no longer looks like it belongs to their body lol. Thanks for the thorough review!

I think it is because she is a makeup artist. I noticed KZfaqr Andrea Ali also a MUA doesn’t over due foundation. It’s something I appreciate too, I’m not into it looking like a mask

Love that you did this video, so helpful. Also really appreciate at the end you shared where your top 2 of the roundup sits with your other faves. I just wore the chantecaille foundation today and was cheering when you put it at #1 lol. Totally agree! You can’t see it on the skin. Always look forward to your videos, thank you!

I agree with you with the laura mercier foundation. It looks great but after 4 hours tarts to melt separate and transfers. Better use nars which is great and better result

I really appreciate all the work you put into your testing and reviews. I also appreciate your honesty. I totally agree with you about the Too Faced skin tint. It was dreadful on my dry skin. I finally got my Guerlain foundation and OMGosh it is beautiful! Oh and BTW you often say that your English and the way you express yourself could be better. Then I heard you use the word oxymoron today. I smiled because many people who have English as their first language don't even know what that means. You are awesome! 😎❤

Thank you for the in depth review! Of all the foundations you have every tried, what is the best for dry skin with frequent dry patches? I live in the desert and also use retin-a. I have a good skin care regimen but will get dry patches when I over do it with exfoliating. Thank you, and so glad I found your channel!

I really like the Chantecaille! It never clinged to my dry patches and it’s very skinlike. Also a skin tint works so well for dry patches. I love the Caliray tint or the Summer Friday.

Thank you for this! I would LOVE a blush one!! I can’t decide from the Gucci, Valentino or the Armani blushes. Which do you love best out of those three? I don’t know what the differences are between those three blushes are! Only the high price tag!!

Wow, so interesting. I decluttered the Makeup by Mario. It never dried down, even with powder, and broke up on my nose and chin within a couple of hours. The Laura Mercier is one of my favorites. But I powder everything.

I was sent samples of the Chantecaille and LOVE it. I also hate the shade range and the one thing keeping me from actually buying it is the jar… if I could decent it, without wasting any, I’d buy it.

My favorite foundations are Make Up Forever HD Skin (a little temperamental - you have to shake it really well and for me it doesn’t work with a lot of primers, and I have to be moisturized), Chanel Les Beiges, and I actually really like a Clinique one. But mostly I wear sunscreen with a little tinted sunscreen on top. I’d like to try more skin tints, and if I had any reason to buy a new foundation I’d try the chantacille.

I am so thankful for all of your in depth reviews. Since finding your chanel and watching most of your video, i have come to realize that you and I have very similar preferences in a foundation. Curious. When you did the try on for each one did you use a primer, moisturizer, sunscreen prior to each application? Also.... I know that your chanel is based or reviews, but i just started my trention journey... would you be willing to do a video with your routine for use?

I use only a moisturizer under and that’s it. No primer or sunscreen! About the retinA journey.. I feel like I didn’t have any.. interesting or out of the ordinary experience. Got a but dry and peeled a bit the first few weeks and then it all went back to normal. I think my skin is smoother and my pores look smaller!

I have five of the foundations that you mention. The one I don’t like too much is the Mario and LM. But of the five I have, the Guerlain is the one I like most. Beautiful on my skin. Thanks for the review.

The Chantecaille is more skinlike. It disappears on the skin. The Chanel has more glow. I’ve been loving the Chantecaille more lately but honestly they are both amazing foundations!

Years ago I used to wear foundation all the time now I only have one the Armani luminous which I wear on occasions. Now I only wear a tinted sunscreen which is all I need lol ❤❤

Did you ever try the mufe foundation? I've heard really great things about it, so, of course, I had to order it. It's so reassuring to know that I have your top 2 choices 😊. I have the shade Camomile in the Chantecaille Future Skin which has a more golden tone. I'd much rather have a neutral undertone for my olive undertones. Lots of love 💜🤍💜🤍💜

I love the MUFE foundation so much ~ though you have to shake it a LOT and there are certain primers that make it not lay well. I find if I put it on moisturized but not primed skin it is top notch.

^Does the Saie one set or does it transfer everywhere? Also have you tried it with spf underneath? I tried tower 28 tint and oh lord it transfers everywhere and never sets. Looks beautiful though and didn't cling to dry patches. I'm on tret so i feel you.

The Saie sets better than the Laura Mercier. Best if you set it with powder though. I didn’t like the tower28 tint.. on me it did cling to my dry patches.

I think it would help alot for the viewers if u show it right after u apply (as u do) as well as after u apply your setting powder and then again after like 4 or 5 hours.....

I love it!! The Chanel is lighter in coverage than the Guerlain and more radiant! The problem I have is the color I have in Chanel didn’t match me during winter season so I didn’t use the foundation as much

I think the two faced formula have changed, I used to use their foundation and now it become Too dry. So is the shade vanilla from Chantencaille darker or same as Laura mericer? I bought cashew 2N1 and it’s ok for me.

I found makeup by mario absolutely sucked on every level. The saie one looks nice but separates really badly after an hour or two. I would have loved the Guerlain one if it didn't oxidise (I had the lightest colour). The Gucci one was VERY yellow and cracked badly after a couple of hours.

I had the same experience with Makeup by Mario. I guess it shows that not all foundations work for everyone.

I heard some people struggling with Makeup by Mario foundation. We are all so different and I’m always amazed how some foundations work for some people and not for others!
