MatchesMalone his spear is unsafe af and a high and even at range anyone with a teleport can punish him and if a scorpion player uses both KBs in 1 combo then they just wasted a KB don’t up play scorpion like he’s s+ or something there are not meany genuinely good scorpion players out there if u consistently lose to casual searing rage scorpions then your trash 👁👄👁

Yet he won a majority of these matches against probably the best scorpion out there rn besides maybe raptor (I think that’s his name) which is still a tossup. This dude would mop you any day of the week smh. People just don’t have respect cause a man didn’t play perfect 100% of the time. plus the overhead is apart of the mixup. I mean a lot of the times he got punished for the overhead was because he just did the low mixup 2-3 times and AVirk still blocked overhead despite the spawn player trying to condition him.

@@yeetyeeterson1914 Didnt say anything of him beating me so dont go off topic. The comment is that the OH mixup was not proper since he was just throwing it out and getting punished by it. Never said anything of playing a perfect game. Part of being a good player is knowing that a mixup is not working on the match.

Actually, I think he's right to spend it so much. This variation of spawn has an insane armor breaker, and Avirk is really good at knowing when to teleport cancel. Hellspawn's combos arent as bad as the combos in spawn's The One, so its not even that bad if you tank a max combo

@@amoebawithlegs1032 right but I've seen plenty of videos of avirk against sonic and ninja . he's constantly wasting it on his teleport cancels . sometimes within seconds he goes from full bar to no bar .

In MK11 where "footsies" is required, Scorpion doesn't even need to play by the rules because of his teleport regardless if it's a high or not. Not only that, Scorpion has some of the best normals and pokes in the entire game. You see how Avirk can abuse his pokes as well as abuse his normals like his b2, F3, B1, F4, B3, etc. He has so many mix up options, so many mind games, an overhead/low 50/50 now that his overhead went from a 26 frame overhead to a 21 frame overhead, run away and zone you out with spear, good movement speed (his movement speed is so much quicker than Kabal who by MK lore is a speedster but is one of the slowest characters in the game in terms of movement). What were the developers thinking making this character? Also the people that severely downplay this character are probably the same ones that think Sonya and Erron Black are low tier. There's so much more I want to say but I think this rant has gone on far enough.
