You can instant change direction with quick boost. You never have to use quick boost normally to dodge because your boost speed is already faster than normal quickboosts and you are mostly grounded so your energy is always full.

I was dominating my friends until he discovered the wheelchair build. The only build in my arsenal who was able to deal with him was my Flying Energy focused build. It's still a pain in the ass though.

Just hover or/and dodge them, most of their weapon are slow or have shit homing (unless they have dual Gatling, idk how you dodge dual Gatling or counter it) so staying at range, run/fly circle around them is the strat.

Wheelchads are so fast on the ground they dodge all your explosives just by wiggling the right stick. Plus they have attitude for days while chickenlegs fall over in a breeze.

What I notice is that the FCS in this game does not determine how fast you can auto-lock on, and with a proper 'head' scanner you can get a lock 700 meters away, but all of your parts don't give you enough accuracy to snipe or launch a barrage of missiles that far away. AC6 is completely in the 'max range' territory of 350-400 meters for lock on range for both arms and shoulder weapons. And yet some missile/rockets have a max engagement range of 2500 meters!

That is mostly for homing purposed. Your missle basically can fly for 2500 max.

the FCS doesn't control the range of the autolock, but it does impact the autolock's stickiness at different range bands. it also can modify how long missiles specifically take to lock onto a target, but once you fire them, the FCS has no control over them anymore, it's just up to the specific missile system. I run the FCS min/maxed for close range, and it is so sticky I've had shots land on targets that dodged behind me and completely off my screen lol
