The Ridgeway Spark Arrestor on the Mason Bogie is a personal peeve of mine. From what I’ve understood: The Rdigeway Arrestors were Rio Grande Southern technology, and DSP&P & the Mason Bogies would’ve been all well and gone from the region or privately owned by the time the Ridgeway Spark Arrestor would’ve been invented. Not only that, but a Ridgeway Spark Arrestor would not cooperate with a Mason Bogie’s articulation since the pipe the sparks fall down from wouldn’t move while the pilot truck & front of the locomotive where it is meant to be attached to absolutely will. I don’t know why of all choices they picked the worst one to put a Ridgeway Spark Arrestor on! The Class 70, which got rebuilt into C-19’s are LITERALLY. RIGHT. THERE. AND HAVE BEEN SINCE LAUNCH! If I had any impact on the game’s development it would just be to replace the Ridgeway Spark Arrestor on the Mason Bogie with a new model of spark arrestor that would work better and make more sense & suggest they add new locomotives that it can actually go on like the C-19 (this isn’t me asking them to put the C-19 on the “add this next” list, I’m just using it as an example).

You know a thought occurred to me. A scrap yard. Think about it the devs could put a limited number of locomotives (2 wood burning, 1 coal, any number of freight cars, or what they wish) and set it up as sort of a purchase area. Say you needed more tractive effort, go to the scrap yard where there is a limited time offer ei: every new day. Now, that I think about it maybe not a good idea 🤷

Some of the trees that you cut down will reappear at range I have noticed since last update, when you get close they will disappear again.
