Special thanks for the "Iron Caput"!))) However, it should be much larger - it is enough to remember that the "Big Bertha" is used as the main weapon in it, and there is an elevator and at least one fairly spacious room inside the tank. However, I expected to see a German A7V with its seven guns on the list. And I would definitely add the KV-5 project (4 guns).

A lot of guns, and most of these tanks aren't really practical, but they look cool. Cool things doesn't win wars though. It's generally why the tank designs we know today haven't changed and incorporated more guns, because it's simply impractical to have more guns on a tank. The earliest tanks used by the British empire during WW1 did have several guns, but they changed that after the war was over, and the tanks we know and love today was born

Corrections. For the Somua sau 40. It is a 75mm gun apx and machine gun mac 31, 7.5mm on turret. Normaly, m3 lee have 4 machine gun, one on turret, one with 37mm and two on driver ... M2, 1 canon and 9 mg ! : 37 mm and mg in the turret. 2 mg left side, 2mg rigth side, 2 at the front of the frame and 2 for anti-aircraft on the turret... T35, but already said in anoyher comment.

I was kinda expecting to see the M2 medium here. It had a 37mm cannon and up to 9 machine guns, and it saw an ok production run (112 built).

Bob Semple's vision vindicated at 1:40. Seriously, model kit companies should take note. The first one to produce a 1/35 (and 1/72) scale styrene injection molded model of the GOAT will sell them by the truckload. Ideally, Tamiya should make a good, basic version, while Roden, ModelArt, or ICM produces a fully-detailed-with-an-interior version. 499th like.

A couple corrections; you forgot the dual M1919 bow mount on the M3, and you shorted the T-35 by a whole 4 machineguns, both 45mm have coaxial DTs and the main turret is identical to the T-28, including the front DT and rear DShK. 😏

Would be nice if there was a remake with the corrections in the comments, but instead of going by number of barrels, rank them by the sum of all the barrel calibers. (I think KV-2-2-2 wins, and would deserve to if it were real)

Уже начиная со второй мировой (когда появились нормальные танки, а не эти уродцы-прототипы времен первой мировой) - система "основное орудие + курсовой пулемет" стало фактически эталонным стандартом для подавляющего большинства танков.

the T-39 was based on the projects of the Ansaldo P.65 which will be abandoned in the 30s and then will be reused as a basis for the T-39 project and the design supervised by Barikov with the help of experts from the Ansaldo company. So I would have entered it as an Italian-Soviet project.

I feel like unless they're the _main_ armament or are in full turrets of their own, MGs shouldn't be part of the count in this, i.e. the Tank Grotte should be under 2 guns, not 4, etc.

Why couldn’t we have had 1 battle between 5-6 German P.1000rats backed up by a couple hundred Mouses against 30 each of T-39’s and T-42’s and a couple hundred IS-7’s. After all the WW2 veterans are gone I say we add a great month long battle to kick off Operation Barbarossa. We’ll say both Hitler and Stalin lost all of their secret superheavy tanks despite a German victory they had to continue the war with old panzer 1’s and 2’s, no one will ever know
