I don't remember the name of the guy, but there were a Soviet cook who took on a German tank on his own using a shovel and some tarp. he banged on the hull and shouted, making sure to move around to make it sound like there were many attackers on the tank. he single handedly captured a full German tank crew. I would say that deserved to be on one of your lists. :)

Russian 1915 tank kinda looks more or less as a revolutionary design, especially for one the first tanks and it's time. -360 degree full rotated turret - Partially sloped armor - Enclosed chassis interesting how the tank development history would've gone and actually changed if Vezdekhod or other complete variation of that tank actually saw mass production in 1915

7:53 you do know that the kv6 is a fake tank right? it was a model made by Brian Fowler who entered it into a sci fi model competition. he built the model in 1995 and ended up on the internet in 97. although multi turret tanks like the t28 and even more rare tanks like the smk were built and entered service, they were very impractical. not only did they require a lot of resources but just imagine how tough it would be for 7-10 crew to communicate to each other. in the end, the idea was dropped. sorry for the long comment lol

A little bit of fact checking and proofreading goes a long way in a community already so fraught with misinformation. Here's all of what I caught. The M15A is a product of photoshop, which is pretty easy to put together once you notice that it has a gun in the transmission. The Nashorn's model seems to have the shorter 88mm that it never actually had in it instead of the much, *much* longer L/71 it actually had. Kurt Knispel's claim of 168 kills has *nothing whatsoever* behind it and comes from a book. The MIAS is claimed here to be a WW1 tank when it was an interwar tank. The KV-6 Behemoth is *the creation of a modeler*, not an *actual prototype*.

You will find out that Tank Man’s column was a lot more than four tanks if you watch the footage.

Great video, I really enjoyed seeing these vehicles compared side-to-side! I do have a few minor nitpicks though: 0:35 The NI tank was not the only tractor tank. You forgot to feature the Bob Semple, which was a New Zealand design from around the same time as the NI tank (~1941). 1:00 The Progrev-T was not the first jet engine tank. That title belongs to a modified version of the Canadian Ram tank (based on the M3 Lee) which was modified by the Specialised Armoured Development Establishment in 1946. They mounted two jet engines instead of one, but it worked so well it sent the mines flying. 1:24 The M15A Gun Motor Carriage is fake. The only photo of it was an M3 Lee with a bunch of guns photoshopped onto it. Even if it was real, the design would be entirely impractical, as there’d be little (if any) room for the crew and the ammunition. 1:48 The PL-01 was just a concept vehicle that was based on the Swedish CV90. As far as public knowledge is concerned, the PL-01 has not been adopted, and considering the Polish Army has ordered the American M1A2 SEPv3 Abrams and the Korean K2PL, I think its safe to say it’ll remain a concept vehicle. The Finnish-modified BMP-2MD might hold the title of first “stealth” tank, at least as far as I’m aware. It was equipped with thermal camouflage, and coupled with the low-profile of the BMP chassis makes the BMP-2MD very hard to spot by infantry. 2:00 Flying and gliding are two separate things. The first “flying” tank was the Soviet T-27 tankette, which was capable of being strapped to the underside of the TB-3 bomber and then deployed onto a battlefield. The Antonov A-40 was also not the only attempt at such a flying design. The American M22 Locust and British Tetrarch were also transportable by glider, with the Tetrarch predating the A-40 by about 3-4 years, and the aforementioned T-27 predated the A-40 by 10-11 years. 2:41 The FV101 Scorpion is not an Main Battle Tank, its a light tank. MBTs are more on-par with Medium Tanks than anything else. Medium tanks are very separate from light tanks. 3:12 I would be hesitant to trust tank ace numbers, especially Germany. Tank crewmen often (knowingly or unknowingly) exaggerated their tank kills and German propaganda most certainly inflated Kurt Knispel’s kills. In fact, the claim that he destroyed 168 tanks is almost entirely unfounded. 7:56 The KV-6 is sadly fake as well. No prototypes were ever built, and no plans were even drawn up to begin with. The design originated from a modeler who made it out of a bunch of different tank models. The P.1500 is not a tank. It's practically a giant self propelled artillery platform with the Schwerer Gustav's gun mounted on it. What you are looking for is the P.1000 Ratte. That was the largest unbuilt tank.

cool video like always, but can everyone please stop saying the TV-8 is propulsed by a nuclear fission engine. It was only a proposition of motorisation, like it was also proposed a gas turbine for it's propulsion. And to conclude, the one and only prototype of the TV-8, was propulsed by a chrysler V-8 engine of 300 hp, it was never envisaged to make it with a nuclear engine (for some obvious reasons), it was just one of the suggestion for his motorisation. 2:50 that's not a Nashorn, that's a Hummel. Similar chassis, but the Hummel is an artillery piece. Also the existence of the P-1500 program is dubious at best. There is no real solid evidence for it. The P-1000 "Ratte" however was a thing.

PL-01 was only demonstrator built on CV-90 hull. It was planned to be stealh have 105mm or 120mm gun and be support tank. Today this plan is forgotten and for 1 or 2 years Poland is starting producing BWP Borsuk swimming ifv (plan is between 50 and 100 vehicles for a year).

While there were some prototype American tanks capable of high speed that never saw combat, the ACTUAL fastest combat tank of WWII is the... The German PzKpfw II Ausf G (Technically called the VK9.01) An experimental transmission was designed that gave the tank three different turning circles depending on how far the driver shifts the controls. Its top speed is regulated at 65 kph but can top out at 67 kph, making it the true fastest combat tank of the War and basically the German tank version of Speedy Gonzales as the fastest speed the other Panzers could manage was somewhere in the low 50s or high 40s (kph).

I would have put the char Renault FT as it was the first « conventional » tank with a departed engine compartment from the crew and a 360 degrees rotating turret. Also, the char 2C as it was the only super heavy tank to actually enter service, as the kv6 is fake and the Maus was never finished
