This fight made me anxious to watch. I almost turned off the show because I was so nervous about the sibling rivalry. When Chris Rose referred to them as Blip the big sister and Tantrum the little brother, I thought "That's exactly what this is." Even without this, I've always seen Tantrum as the runt of the littler trying to match up to the big dogs and to prove itself. Then by gosh, team Tantrum did exactly that when they won the giant nut, followed by kicking Hydra's butt 2x. Time to celebrate. Let's throw a party. No. Let's throw a Tantrum.

that was self sabotage 100%, its the perfect out come for both bots; tantrum still gets a epic fight to impress the judges with its durability

I agree, I do not buy that the weapon failure on its first hit was accidental, tantrum looked much more passive in its driving and blip looked at its worse.

I don’t think this fight was rigged at all. But I am surprised tantrum got dominated here considering it destroyed hydra

@@ryanbates3319 I would like to hope so, but that is part of the reason, blip's performance was so poor compared to hydra, and their weapon has never failed like that so easily. Tantrums driving did not look on par either.

Or maybe, hear me out, these are expensive and complicated pieces of engineering, and the slightest thing going wrong can make all the difference. There is the saying "anything can happen inside the box" for a reason. Frankly, I'm surprised these kinds of malfunctions don't happen more often (really, that's more of a testament to the engineering prowess on display here).
