Y porqué hay que traducir al anglosajón? el anglosajón no tiene nada de la gracia necesaria para hacer traducciones 😢 en cambio el ITALIANO es completamente válido para hacerse entender mundialmente ❤

Traditional Latin Masses also remind me of my early childhood before Vatican 2 - I do not know if it was just me and my poor audio android or the video audio on my end has been compromised somehow but the audio sounds terrible, garbled, the language not even legible, garbled.....

Yes indeed! We had PROPER Mass then - not the liturgical barn dances we have and dare to call worship and mass.

@@myleshagar9722 New Mass itself is not the problem. It's not an abuse. We shouldn't make a "battle of Masses", because both are good and true Masses.

Quante volte l'abbiamo cantata nella nostra parrocchia da giovane ora adulti mi ci viene sempre le lacrime sentirla cantare in latino come una volta si cantava in tutte le parrocchie. Quanta nostalgia quanti ricordi che li portiamo nel cuore.

In Deutschland wird das "Tantum ergo" vor dem Eucharistischen Segen auch noch sehr oft lateinisch gesungen; trotz der vorherigen Neuen Messe.

It's amazing they use the melody if the Imperial Anthem for Tantum ergo (or vice versa?) because we in Poland used to sing our old anthem "Gaude Mater Polonia" (the anthem of Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth) on the melody of O salutaris Hostia

The melody wasn't intended to be the national hymn of Germany lol. It's older than the federal republic of Germany , even older than the Kaiserreich..

This is what most of the older generation of Catholic was raised on. Back then it was sacred and spiritual. Now it is more commercialized more for profit then spiritual. Back then you felt like anything can happen. You looked forward to the mass and the occasions. I know we must change with time but at what cost. I don't mind the new charismatic songs vs the traditional ones, the songs are so uplifting. The point I am trying to make is this is the version before lose of innocents.

Deutschland Deutschland liber alis. Very nice for an Austrian national anthem, but not correct to call this Tantum Ergo. Not appropriate for benediction.

@@antoniolarotonda9811 a parte che il funerale di re Otto l'ho visto più volte, ma cantare l'inno ≠ cantare tantum ergo anche se la melodia è la stessa. Il fatto che gli Asburgo fossero una monarchia prettamente cattolica può avere influito sul riadattamento, ma non capisco dove sia il problema
