With regards to demonetization - this seems like a place where firearms and ammunition manufacturers could step up to the plate by buying ad-placement but only on firearms and ammunition related videos. Seems to me like these videos have the perfect audience for such ads.

Hey taofledermaus you might want to try sealing them in the shell with wax to provide some resistance like a crimp would. just stick a layer of hot wax around the edges of the place where the shot cup meets the side of the shell. It may or may not work better but I don't think it would make it any worse.

Since it stays as a single piece until impact it's actually an APCR or armor piercing composite rigid shell instead of an APDS shell. Real APCR shells were developed before APDS shells and consisted of a hard, high density core embedded in a lighter low density body so when it hit a target the body would give way and only the core would penetrate.

Hey guys, couple things. 1) KZfaq is slowly moving away from monetizing firearm related videos or allowing firearm related videos on their site. You can find news and videos on this subject. That's why you're running into this issue. 2) If you want to maximize the amount of ad-money you get for each video, do a few things. A) Be extremely careful of what you type in the subject, description, and tags. Try to avoid generic tags like #GUNS and the like. I know it's the opposite of what you may want but... I mean... do what you can. B) Always release your videos as unlisted for a full 48 hours first before releasing them to the public. Perhaps releasing them to Patreon ahead of KZfaq public would work best. The reason for this is to spot any issues or problems with demonetization before the public sees it so you don't lose any money. There's some other things you can probably do but this should get you started.

that's so cool! it totally makes sense that you could just scale it down and still have it behave the same way aerodynamically and ballistically. I wonder if it could work in an even smaller format like a custom tooled 9mm cartridge. I imagine that would be absolutely useless because of how small the projectile would be, but it'd probably also penetrate much farther into the material because of its small size. it's so interesting how something that looks like it shouldn't be able to work at sub-sonic speeds flies amazingly at supersonic speed. I absolutely love watching you guys shoot. Objects moving through space at very high velocities is just fascinating to me. The slow motion camera work just makes it so much better. As for the demonetization issues, It really has nothing to do with guns and/or ammo. It is pure right v left. There are so many ways to be offensive and many more ways to take offense. My advice? More shooting, less talking.
