Yep mine does 45-50mph. I'm 6ft and about 190lbs. I've also drove mine over a 1000 miles and it is starting to lose power and burn oil now. great beginner bike for the price.

Yeah, these are great beginner bikes, just make sure you sell them as soon as you feel like you can move on because when they break, it’s not fun. But these are great beginner bikes

Nah it's not that boggy, It just needs to warm up for 1-2min sometimes. I know some peoples carbs on their taotao are really boggy, I got lucky. Yeah mikuni makes great carbs, that will be a future upgrade for the taotao.

yo lo can be made street legal. It doesn’t really help for the dirtbike side unless if you take the key out when you store it so someone can’t try and steal it and ride off with it.

whats the difference between the DB17 and the normal TaoTao. Because on amazon there is one called TaoTao 125cc DB17. And another one that is just TaoTao 125cc.

Is there a reason you ride the clutch so much? You can just down shift to stop instead of holding clutch in and braking.

yes it would be a good bike for you. You may need to adjust the rear shock to lower it a little.

Don’t get the 110 it has no clutch and 3 gears, top speed is 35mph. You’ll have way more fun on the 125 trust me. No engine problems for the 2 months I’ve owned it.
