At 3:23 I wrote the formula wrong for the body scrub. Here is the corrected formula for the body scrub; 80% sugar 19% almond oil (any oil) 1% fragrance oil / essential oil

For the lip balms, put a rubber band around all of them and it makes it easier to pour inside.

Your awesome for doing this for the regular DIYER'S . It is nice they can have something to give their loved ones too. I personally had my Christmas stock up the last day of November so people had time to order. In case they didn't this is a cool way to give something personal. That bath fizzle formula is pretty cool! I liked that a lot!

Love your videos and I’m learning so much on how to actually read some of these recipes that are in percentages, thank you for that :) the body scrub is amazing, I made a batch with avocado oil a week ago and I love using it for exfoliating before shaving my legs. But being winter here in Australia now, I want to try making the lip balm recipe using beeswax, a strawberry lip scent oil and a lip flavour oil to add some sweetness. But problem is, I’m a bit lost on how to get to the 100% by adding these extra products in and what other ingredients should be lowered. Please help! Maybe even a video in the beginners formulation playlist on this might help those of us out there that are struggling with this. Can’t wait to see more of your videos and learn more in the future!!

Tara, just fyi, if you add the liquid ingredients then add the citric acid last you avoid all that bubbling up.

I believe it’s suppose to bubble up, that way it expands and flattens out. I just followed the recipe, but I’m sure giving that method a try would work to. It would just be harder to get it to flatten out

To help the measurements for body scrub are 3/4 cup sugar about 1 1/2 tablespoon oil (few drops fragrance oil) Coloring (optional)

Cuz i think there's no water in it, only oil, and oils don't necessarily need a preservative.

FYI if anybody's making that you can put wax paper in that container and press it down and then when the next day comes you can turn it over and or take the wax paper out and just break it up by hand you don't need to do all that nice stuff with a knife

This probably has nothing to do with this video but I pray you reply. I watched a video of you on how to make Castile soap and also videos on how to make different face washes. Can I use the Castile soap and put in other ingredients since I wasn’t able to get some surfactants and some of them are pricey in my country so I was able to get just pure Castile soap. Orrrrr will the formulation be different? Or can you make a video using those Castile soap for face wash instead of making from scratch. Pleaseeeeeee 🥺🥺🥺🥺 Thank you very much.

it isn't necessary, just make sure you aren't getting water into the scrub. If you want to take the scrub into the shower with you and not worry about getting water in it then you can add optiphen at 1.5% to preserve it. Optiphen plus won't work since it is water soluble. You need an oil soluble preservative like optiphen

Yup! The formula always equals 100% the formula is written in percents. So the recipe does not equal 100% the recipe should equal your total batch amount. So if you are making a 200 gram batch the recipe will equal 200, but the formula will still equal 100
