High pass filter allows everything HIGHER than the set frequency(ex. 90hz) to pass through to the speakers Low pass filter allows everything LOWER than the set frequency(ex. 1khz) to to pass through to the speakers With the example shown above, the amp will only send frequencies 90hz-1khz to pass through to your speakers. There’s also things like -12db, -24db, -36db, per octave the comes into play but it’s basically “roll off” from the set frequencies

You really nailed the biggest known/unknown with an authentic stage prop car audio. ( just kidding, man) The fab on your door is really a testament to some super skilled people. I have a xt audio 2k watt amp, got my speakers tuned yesterday, I have 4 ds18 6.5 pro x6bm and two prv tweeters. It sounds good but my only problem at max volume certain songs have more distortion 🤦🏾‍♂️ maybe it’s because I need a separate EQ instead of using the head unit eq

Do you think 4 ds18 PRO-X6.4BM each at 4ohms wide down in parallel to 1 ohm would sound good on the TARAMPS MD 1200.1.

Why would you NOT turn the low pass all the way up if you're running tweeters on that amp? Are you trying to simulate veteran hearing or youtube quality audio? I saw Steve Meade do this on a setup video (rolling it off at 8kHz, and then boosting the treble EQ) and it rattled my OCD. If it's a mid driver amp you might set it at 2-5k. One thing I do like on that amp is you can use a high pass on the subs to stop them flubbing around at 20Hz.

I was very confused on the crosover section LOWPASS and Highpass of the tarramps.lowpass control is 50hz to 15khz.and the highpass is 5hz to 50hz only..how can i tune this if i will use only on pure tweeters or high. Or on pure mids only.
