I recently was at Dimash's concert in Düsseldorf, sitting at 3rd row from the stage, right in the middle; it was beyond beyond beyond everything I've ever experienced. We had singing sessions with him during the concert. I'm still floating on a big pink cloud, waiting to fall down into reality again (allthough I hope it can be postponed until the next concert). 😍

Oh wow - I'm so happy for you! Seeing ❤️💕Dimash💕❤️ live is 100% definitely on my bucket list - I was so hoping to see him in Europe, but I've been too poorly to travel, so I'm saving up all my pennies in the hope of making a more extended trip out of it, some time next year - and if that means funding a nurse/carer to go with me, even one who's never heard of Dimash, so be it - by the end of the concert, we'd have another Dear for life, for sure!😆

Gawd dang~ wish i was there for it since i grew up listening to the chinese(cantonese version) then the original japanese version when i was in my teens somewhat 2~30years ago. The japanese version was sang by its original writer but the chinese version sounds better because it was performed by jacky cheung, a singer that had the honor to perform on the same stage with madonna/michael jackson back in the day as a an asian from hong kong. But this version.. man, Aimesh is just something else. And having the chance to be able to listen to both those versions at once by Aimesh is just dreamy. Would pay anything for it

First learned about Dimash through your videos. I saw him live 2 weeks ago (The concert was supposed to take place in 2020, but was postponed due to the pandemic). When I tell you I'm still not over it! It was INSANE. Three (!) hours of perfection. I feel sorry for anyone who hasn't seen him live yet. Or who don't know about him at all 💙😭🤍

So glad to have you back with another amazing Dimash reaction. Dimash always astounds and amazes us. The lyrics to this song are: “Ikanaide (please don’t go)” Verse 1 Nothing, I can’t see anything I have been crying all this time Not because of sorrow Just grateful to feel your warmth Chorus Ah…. Please don’t go Please don’t go Please don’t ever let us separate Ah…. Please don’t go Please don’t go Stay with me forever Verse 2 Someday…..my heart will …..someday… Be somewhere far away Everything will remain only as a memory Though it’s better not to know It’s better not to know Ikanaide was used as the title song for a 1989 TV series "Farewell, Lixianglan" co-produced by China and Japan, about a Japanese actress Yoshiko Yamaguchi (12 Feb 1920 - 7 Sept 2014) who was born in China. She hid her Japanese heritage under the name Li Xianglan. She became famous in China during World War II. However, once the war was over and her identity was revealed, she was accused of being a spy and was deported to Japan. She didn't return to China for many years. Ms Yamaguchi did return to China in her later years as the Japanese Parliamentary Vice Minister of Environment. This song is saying goodbye to her Chinese name Li Xianglan. It is also a metaphor, as the lyrics speak of how a person has to hide what she feels inside. In 1993, Hong Kong singer Jacky Cheung adapted it into Mandarin with the meaning of the song different from that of the original. He called it Late Autumn. In 2004 the Taiwanese singer and Dimash's friend, Terry Lin, adapted the song into a new Mandarin version entitled "Autumn Strong”. Dimash performed the Terry Lin version (Autumn Strong) when he participated in the 2017 The Singer competition in China. He sang it in Episode 4 of the competition and it was his first time singing in Mandarin. Regarding Dimash’s Japanese performance, a Japanese reactor said that Dimash’s pronunciation was perfect. It was as good as a native speaker’s. It shows how much of a perfectionist Dimash is and how many hours he must have spent on his pronunciation and delivery. In addition, Goro Matsui, who wrote the lyrics to “Ikanaide” praised Dimash’s performance and said: “I’ve heard ‘Ikanaide’ sung by foreign singers in their native language many times. Even though they all sing great, none of them seemed to quite capture the sound/reverberation and meaning of the original lyrics and perceive the emotions between the lines. In this song, the phrase ~ Ah, ikanaide~ is repeated several times in the chorus. Although they are the same exact words, each line has a different meaning. “But this is the first time anyone has sung it so beautifully in Japanese. I happened to find Dimash singing “Ikanaide” by chance. The first thing that surprised me was his crystal clear tone and his expressive voice that conveys the lyrics of the song.”

Dimash is the best singer in the WORLD and there are no doubts about that, his voice is a prodigy of nature and a genetic marvel since his parents are two glories of singing from Kazakhstan since he was 5 years old, he sings publicly and has more than twenty years of lyrical training and graduated from the university of music, he is a singer, composer, arranger and multi instrumentalist, he plays more than seven musical instruments and sings in more than Ten(10) languages, he is also a great performer and a great artist who lives and feels music He is not an imitator of voices , Dimash has his own style and is one of the forerunners of the "POPera" he also has a very pleasant, HUMBLE and simple personality, easy access, which makes it very easy to follow, he always travels with His family and friends is a very educated person and an example to follow, he has become known for his musical talent not for getting into trouble or scandals, It has a very wide vocal range of approximately 7 octaves ,he is a singer with a wide vocal range very versatile is Baritone, TENOR , Soprano, counter TENOR, mezasoprano, everything at the same time is how to have 5 singers in one, it has a male and female voice, also many resources such as vibrato, "melismas", falsetto, Staccato, whistle tone, reaching a( D8 )live "Outside of Piano"at the concert of Gakku in an unforgettable day, at his young age he continues to improve and grow musically to perfection, he has a good physical presence he measures 191 cm or 6 "3", he is very famous and recognized in Asia and now he is becoming known In Europe and America, ALL their songs are spectacular, it always goes from low to high, soft to spectacular at the end, in my almost half a century of life I never heard so much quality and it is the hope of continuity of the classical genre because all the old tenors have already Almost all of them died and Dimash can sing like them but none of them can sing like Dimash, being a Man he sings better than any Tenor and his female voice is superior to that of any average Soprano, greetings and a hug from USA 🇺🇸 "Dears" Forever ❤️ Sorry for copying and pasting my informative comment in ALL the Video reactions to Dimash what I see but I do it with the intention of sharing information about him and what I think that in the music industry there are many artists who have been successful and have no talent and are bad people and they do not set a good example for the youth, Dimash and his music deserve to triumph in America, Europe and the whole WORLD, do you want to have already read my comment please come by without problem there is always someone who for the first time knows this information and I won't get tired of sharing it with all my friends"Dear" around the world, thanks for reading and for supporting Dimash 🙏🏻S.O.S. Missed you! This song... is so famous... and he makes it his song and sings it so beautifully, wistfully, and then with the full force of emotion. Ikanaide ... Don't go... Thanks so much for your analysis. I always learn to appreciate Dimash even more with your insightful critiques. The Chinese version of this song, Autumn Strong, tells more of a full story. (I think... I don't know Chinese at all.) The original in Japanese is more evocative, in my opinion. I love both versions, especially when Dimash is the artist. It's simply a beautiful song. Thank you, Tara Simon. 🙏💜

I'm glad you're back Tara and I missed you so much. This song was originally written and composed by Toji Tamaki from Japan. This is the original version of the song AUTUMN STRONG sang in MANDARIN. This song is about Yoshiro Yamaguchi a woman born in China but her parents are from Japan. During WW2 she left Japan to live in China, she was known as the Judy Garland of China. No one knew of her Japanese background. After the WW2 her identity was revealed and the people who loved her wanted her deported. So yes, as usual, I'm impressed by his ability to perform and own a stage that he's not even on.

This version "Ikanaide" (行かないで) ) is the original, from 1989, composed by Koji Tamaki (famous Japanese singer, born in 1958) with lyrics by Goro Matsui. The version "Autumn Strong" (Late Autumn), sung in Chinese, uses the same song, but has another lyrics (Yaqui Cheung, from 1993) and another theme: It talks about the Japanese actress Yoshiko Yamagushi, very dear to the Chinese, who was deported when they discovered her Japanese origin (his real name was Li Xiang Lan and we're talking about World War II, where Japan was China's enemy) and never returned to China. In the original version, the lyrics are more intimate, sentimental and more recognized worldwide. It means: "Please don't go!". 👉Dimash sang this song on the Tokyo Jazz Festival in 2022. Because of the pandemic, the annual Tokyo Jazz Festival took place online again (Pandemic). In 2021 Dimash also participated in the famous annual Tokyo Online Festival with 2 songs: * S.O.S. - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qatdbMmCuazdkac.html * Samaltau - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/hbKiedZhvLjcl40.html The Chinese (Autuumn Strong) and Japanese (Ikanaide/ Please, Don’t Go) versions have completely different lyrics.. Both are based on a true story. The Chinese version shows the image of leaves dancing in the autumn wind as a metaphor for how fate affected Yoshiko Yamaguchi's life. ...sad but inevitable and irrevocably The Japanese version does not want to accept the loss, is full of pain, pleads, suffers ... heartbreaking. I'm totally fascinated by how sensitively Dimash distinguishes and conveys to the listener the feelings of sadness and loneliness in the Chinese version and loss and pain in the Japanese version. Even his whisper and his breath are music... it breaks my heart and the tears keep flowing.I have never heard anything like this from a singer in my entire life. Only Dimash can do that. That is true mastery. The original Japanese version Ikanaide/ Don’t Go(composed 1989) is by Koji Tamaki (*1958, Japanese songwriter). The sad true story... very touching: It is about Yoshiko Yamaguchi (*1920-2014), a Chinese-born Japanese actress during World War II. She hid her Japanese heritage under the name Li XIanglan and became famous in China. However, when the war was over and she revealed her identity, she was accused of being a spy. She was deported to Japan and longed for China. Ms. Yamaguchi did not return to China until many years as deputy environment minister in the Japanese parliament. The song is a metaphor as the lyrics speak of how a person should hide what they are feeling. Koji Tamaki sent a wonderful message to Dimash, thanking him, and praising him for singing his song in Japanese. Vbloggers, they reacted to the original by Koji Tamaki, they are mesmerized and can't stop listening to him. He wrote many wonderful melodies - you should check it out: Koji Tamaki 2021, Ikanaide - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/hdaXobBjssnHc4U.html In 1993, Jacky Cheung (*1961, singer and actor in Hongkong) adapted the song into Chinese Mandarin, calling it Late Autumn: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mtp9ZaikzK6oY4E.html The most famous interpretation In China (first performance at the Singer 2017) was that of Dimash Qudaibergen and it was his first time to sing in Chinese mandarin: Dimash - Autuumn Strong - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gdOZZcaHztDIfaM.html This song brought Dimash the 'Best Foreign Singer' award at the Golden Melody Award 2017 (equivalent to the Grammy) in Hong Kong. * Great performance (Chinese version) of Dimash from Kiev 11.03.2020, the last concert before Corona paralyzed everything: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/aplnfKikqa--lnk.html * Other version of Dimash: In Moscow on March, 2019 - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Y8unhZtz1MmWYX0.html
