I keep on walking Taraz streets.
We start walking at Kairat Ryskulbekov Park, mentioned in the previous video of the series and then go along this lovely street.
Zheltoksan Street is a street with a total length of about 5 km, located in the central part of the city of Taraz. It received its name in memory of the December events of 1986 in the city of Alma-Ata (translated from Kazakh Zheltoksan means “December”).
The street consists of two parts. The first begins at the intersection of Askarova and Tuyebekov streets, then turns left and ends at the intersection with Tole bi street. The second starts from Kazybek Bi Street, then turns right and ends at the intersection with Privokzalnaya Street and that is the part we walk by.
The numbering of houses on the odd side goes from house 1 and ends with house 247, and on the even side from house 2 to house 270. Publicly significant buildings include the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Taraz Innovation and Humanities University, the Employment Center, the Youth Resource Center and the Department of Emergency Situations. Also on the street is Kairat Ryskulbekov Park. The development is mixed - there are both condos and private houses.
Please, comment, like and subscribe, that matters a lot to me!
