Police said it happened at 640 Evans St. in the southwest part of the city. That address is a one-minute drive from The Mall West End.

Just heartbreaking and senseless, the war is not in Ukraine or Russia, it's here in the ATLANTA Streets, it's a neverending cycle of our brothers and sisters killing each other over nothing, and even if it was over something, this kind of level of Violence shouldn't be displayed or executed to resolve the problem, sit down and talk my brothers and sisters it's not hard, it's best to talk and walk away than to argue shoot and be carried away, walking and talking in unity is what we should be fighting for and standing for, my Condolences goes out to all the love ones affected by this senseless tragedy 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

The 17 year old was my friend son not only did she lose her oldest to gun violence now she has to bury her baby boy its a sad world we live in where the young generation is killing each other😢😢😢😢these fathers have to step up and raise these young men and give them the proper guidance these streets are wicked and dont love nobody. Its so easy to be influenced now days but i do ask God to give each of these mothers and families strength.

I love Atlanta so much I never looked back when I move in the 90’s from Philly. However the gun violence, and gentrification sent me to Kennesaw a few miles north of Atlanta! My condolences to all family and friends! I can always find what I need at Greenbrier and the West End Mall the reputation keeps folks away! 🙏🏽

I recall years ago when I would visit ATL regularly I would visit the West End and that was the 1st I had experience a Krispy Kreme. I visited the mall that was located there and it was creepy to me then. Quite a bit of seedy looking people around but I figured being the day time what can go wrong? Boy was i wrong. It must be a real sh*t hole around there now.
