Great video!!!! I would love to see this in person one day rightnow probably too dangerous "politics religion" plus I'm broke after becoming disabled 😞 I wish gearheads from around the world could hang out and exchange ideas and designs I'm sure even with the language barrier people could have a great time...... from Wyoming USA

Believe it or not most of the drivetrain components are standard. Patrols and Landcruisers have very strong gearboxes, transfer cases, final drives and axles from the factory.

Thank you for uploading an amazing video. The cinematography is beautiful and shows the tallent you have to capture perfection in such tough conditions. I do have a question. Why do competitors use the street tires over paddle tires? Thank you again, sincerely Jeff.

jeff park I understand what you mean. If you use sandy tires, there will be no challenge. All requirements are difficult for a person to win the desired status and here is the competition

Theshadowcar thank you for the reply. I figured it was in the rules. I wasnt Sure if it was because the paddle tires would be too hard on the drive train with all the horsepower these cars make. One day I hope to make the trip to see it for myself. Thanks again, Jeff

غلطان يأخوي .. هذا أقوى موتر بالتوقيت 9:40 لأنه وصل خلال 4.7 ثواني واللي أنت تقول وصل 5.1 ثواني فرق

Most have timing way messed up. They think back firing equates to horse power. 16:00 min. Was American V-8 and did well.

I just think that they have zero mechanical sympathy, unlimited cash and don't GAF if it goes bang. That V8 powered truck is in a completely different class. They have classes for 6 cylinder NA and turbo and different ones for auto and manual V8s etc.
